Quite a fresh breeze was blowing the morning we went to this park with Dougal the wee Boston Terrier but thankfully it was a mild wind. It was Dougal's first visit here and he enjoyed himself running about the shore and chasing the birds. The...More

It is a pretty easy walk from the parking lot of the state park out to the lighthouse. Once there, there are probably sixty steps or so up to the fairly short lighthouse, but you can see the waterways stretching out about 270 degrees, and...More

It's a long climb up all those stairs, but it is well worth it when you reach the lighthouse! Beautiful ocean vistas!

It's nice to visit on a hot day in July, but it is also crowded and tough to get a decent photo from the shore. The surrounding area is not abundant; easy to walk, comfortable and beautiful. Good for a quick trip.

This is a great spot to visit, awesome views and a historical lighthouse. It is hard to find but once you get there, it is worth it.
