I love the sand and tidal pool where kids can swim. Water is a bit (a lot cold). Lots of area to sunbathe, play games, or just walk along the shore.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Maine. Very large so doesn't get too crowded. Long way to walk in the sand when tide is out but worth it. Able to explore the rock island when the tide is out to make it interesting. Best...More

One of the BEST Maine beaches for walking, swimming, beachcombing and more. You can park in the Maine State Park lot or travel further down the road where there's free parking.

Be ready to pay &8 per adult. Pack all your food chairs and towels and set out for an adventure. Beach is quiet and vast. Watch tides. You can walk out to islands. Pretty driftwood and shells. Vikings documented in area. Clean bathrooms and showers

Ever-changing due to massive tide and storm action. Long Beach when tide is out. You can walk out to Fox Island. But be careful to follow warning signs to ensure you don't get trapped for six hours on the island by the incoming tide. Dogs...More
