Good information centre and easy access to dam wall walk. Parking can be in short supply and you really don't want to walk up from the lower carparks. Pleasant place.

We went one Sunday morning. It got busy around 11am, with motorbikes etc. We walked across the wall and got a coffee, then went and played down in the park. Would highly recommend. A nice place to be.

We walked to the dam from the nearby Cedar Lakes resort, which was about a 3k round trip, uphill in places. It was well worth the effort to witness what is essentially an amazing engineering spectacle and a setting of serene pleasure. There is a...More

A great walk around the grounds and also right out across the dam to the other side. Beautiful views of surrounding mountains. Very good visual history details and interactive IT. Lots on offer at the View Café - food, drinks and souvenirs.
