My husband and parents and I boated out to Eagle Island to take a look around. Even though the main building/house was closed to the public, the grounds keeper helped us dock and visit the island. We peeked in the windows, walked the trails and...More

Admiral Peary's home has been well maintained. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable about him and his family. The views are amazing. It is a wonderful place to take a picnic, play on the beach, take a walk around the island.

Took a boat from the Dolphin Restaurant. Definitely worth the trip to see the house that was Admiral Peary's house.

This is wonderful place to visit. We kayak out that way and have taken several visitors there. The history is amazing and the museum is staffed by wonderful local people, who are doing what they love. A must see if you can there.
