The place was awesome, there were hardly any people there. You have multiple beautiful beaches to pick from. The bathrooms were clean. The only negative is that there are a lot of green heads biting constantly. I def will be back.

The park is very nice with 2 different beaches - the Mile beach and the half mile beach are separated by rocks. Bathrooms are available as well as a picnic area. The only problem was the cost which was $8 a person for out of...More

Our family visited there twice this month and found both experiences terrific. It is not a long walk to the beach, restrooms are accessible and clean, showers available. Bring plenty of sun screen and bottles of water to keep hydrated. The granddaughters had a great...More

What a beautiful beach, so clean - looked as if no-one had ever been on it, except for the footprints in the sand. Highly recommend the drive to see this gem!

Reid State Park is one of our favorite spots. It's a great place to take a walk. We especially enjoy riding our bikes there. The ocean can be a little rough, so if you have young children, check out the small beach area closer to...More

High Waves, Crashing Sounds, and Surfers. It was worth the drive to visit Reid State Park. Recent storms coupled with a incoming tide and wind had the surf at it's highest in years so we were told. Talked to several surfers who said this was...More

Get a grip folks. The green flies can be bad, but only a short 10 day window end July. June, none. August, none. The beach is massive, with very tall waves on one side, and short waves on the other. Beaches are about 2 miles...More

I don't believe that clamming is allowed with or without a license. Also, the shoreline of the park doesn't have any "flats" where clams would live.

I believe that they are allowed in the park but not on the beach.
