The Kerguehennec Estate, a property owned by the Departement of Morbihan, offers the visitor an exceptional landscaped park where it is possible to wend one's way along the different pathways while enjoying the pleasures of art and heritage. The visitors are invited to stroll through the park and discover its sculptures before visiting the 18th century castle - which is a listed building - and its outbuildings, where Pierre Tal Coat's work and the works of contemporary artists are exhibited.

Visiting in winter, only the grounds are open, but with a bit of sunny weather the park and chateau are a pleasant place to spend an hour or so. From the gatehouses across from the parking lot, the path leads past the lake to the...More

The chateau houses modern art exhibitions, an interesting juxtoposition of tradition and modernity. However the focal point has to be the extensive gardens and lake which have become an extraordinary sculpture park with examples of contemporary sculpture from around the world. The cafe is well...More
