Since the change in ownership this excellent book store has been changed somewhat but it still has excellent selections of books covering very diverse areas, many locally focused books, and the coffee shop adds attractiveness.

I ordered a smoothie from the smoothie board. This is what I got in the picture. I’m sure this is a slushie not smoothie. Very Disappointed.

Always great to stop by and pick up some good reading material. The adjacent coffee shop is also good. And you can find out-of-town newspapers such as the NY Times there too. Grab a sidewalk table and enjoy Damariscotta's Main street.

Fab place. Free WiFi, great coffee, super friendly service. Highly recommended, we popped back every day whilst staying locally.

We had a pumpkin spice latte and the harvest latte (I may have the name wrong) it was the special creation for Pumpkinfest. They were both excellent.

The cafe is cute and has a quirky menu full of sandwiches and bagels and smoothies the staff is nice and efficient. They put wayyyyyy too much cream cheese over their bagels. It was disgusting...

Purchased last year and is now Sherman's Bookstore. It is definitely not the same as our beloved Maine Coast Book Shop. The service and feeling of the place is totally different.
