Well love coming here but today the snack bar is not open. Not a big deal but it has always been open in the past so we didn’t bring food . Just thought people should have heads up that snack bar is closed—at least for...More

First time back here in years. Very nice facility, but 6.00 per person in the car was a lot for our 2 hour picnic!

This can be a fun place if you go early to pick a spot. In the afternoon it is packed. They have grills if you bring food and charcoal. A great place to walk on the beach off season.

This is one of the nicest, cleanest state parks I've been to. Restrooms with showers available and clean. Lots of hiking trails. Wow factor with finding the beach area with soft sand and clean lake. I would highly recommend.

Very nice small state park, perfect for visiting for a few hours or for the day. It has a clean, beautiful, sandy beach. There are lots of picnic tables and grills, most under the shade of trees. Lots of people were kayaking and there is...More

This state park campground is on a beautiful lake with impeccable bathrooms and friendly staff. The only draw back is that the camp sites are on top of each other which was a big disappointment. We only stayed one night and I probably would not...More

Nice spot to enjoy the lake and the hiking trail goes the length of the beach so you can pick up the trail at either end. We had a nice long (3 mile) hike and then went for a swim after changing in the clean,...More

They sell firewood there and most stores in the area have firewood but you can always go in the woods around the campground and collect your own for free that's what I do

There are playground, picnic tables, concessions, and much more. I haven't carefully looked at small children facilities, but I'm sure they will have fun!
