Tried a new spot today at Barrett's Cove I would say it was a nice spot to float at if you're not scared of swimming with the fishes. They had some huge trout I think in there. The water has sand but major debris underfoot...More

The walk up to Maidens Cliff was a good climb and not to strenuous. Beautifull views of Megunticook Lake and the mountains to the west.

This is a nice uphill hike area to look out at the lovely lake nestled into the hills. It is a bit difficult to find the parking lot.

This a beautiful lake to kayak on. There is a convenient and free boat launch at the far (east side) of the lake. Watch for Eagles nesting in the island in the middle.

Quiet, pristine, with the call of the loons and fall leaves on the mountains surrounding the lake. A gem, especially during this colorful season!

Very nice scenery, without the busy traffic in town Camden. Don't bring the pets. Unfortunately we found the construction job on Hwy 52 but the lake itself is a very beautiful setting. Clean well kept up and appealing to the eyes.

We are visiting some friends for a few days and staying at a vacation rental on the lake. There are no words to describe the beauty all around. The peace and quiet alone are invaluable. We kayaked a little on the lake yesterday but we...More

We engaged in several drives as the weather was not conducive for outdoor activities. This was lovely. We did not stop for Fernand's Neck; that was the plan, but the rain started again.

We took a sneak peak of the lake from one of the sandy shores and then decided to enjoy the view from the top. The walk up the Maiden Cliff Hill is by itself a pleasant activity. It's a rather easy 45 mn uphill hike,...More
