We weren't expecting such a spectacular view from the top of Mount Battie. So glad we decided to stop by and view this park.

For a small fee you can drive to the top with unbelievable views of Camden Harbor. Totally worth it! Also many hiking trails within the park.

...it was SO foggy, we couldn't see a blasted thing. The history was interesting and the stone building at the top was lovely. Admission is more than reasonable, we would recommend checking the weather before visiting.

This is a very nice local park that you can hike in or drive to the top and enjoy the views from Mt. Battie overlooking the Camden harbor.

We did the Nature/Tablelands trail to the top of Mt. Battie for a fantastic view of Camden Harbor and beyond. Ask for a trail map when you buy your ticket. The trails are well-marked but the map definitely helped!

Yes. The grades are steep buy brief. There's plenty of parking at the summit and the road loops around to the exit.

The road to the summit of Mt. Battie is only 1.5 miles long. There are 25 miles of hiking trails in this 6,200 acre park.
