Boothathan kettu is located in kothamangalam. Ernakulam District. It is an amazing spot for tourists. Boating is also available there. The total beauty of the nature is awesome .

The renewed Bhoothathankettu is wonderful. Full of enjoyment for family and children. Boating is Super. The climate and atmosphere is charming. Should visit

I would not suggest that you come all the way for just seeing this area but it may not disappoint you either. The dam itself ( a barrage actually ) is painted bright and further on there is a forest trek to the old Bhoothathan...More

Nice average dam located on the way to munnar, we stayed there for a couple of minutes took some pics and moved on

this dam is located in a forest area near to Kothamangalam .. saw some visitors at the arch near the dam .. also saw a boat on the dam which means boaring activities could be on here ..on the other side of the dam construction...More

Boating through periyar is perhaps the best way to explore the wilderness of BHOOTHATHANKETTU and THATTEKKAD in the real sense. Different types of boats from passenger’s capacity of 8 to 80 are available.
