Hard to top that. Tons of birds in the nearby harbor. Their osprey nest has a camera mounted overhead that can be viewed anywhere on the internet. Having watched that in the past it was really interesting to see the location. They have great trails.

Thank John R

Words can not describe the beauty & peace found on this island. Walking the island and seeing the seals and birds are great- as is the staff and amazing chef!

Hog Island and the mainland property are worth the visit, I was on staff from 1985-1997. It was opened in the 30's and to some of us it's second home.

This nature trail is not to be missed. Pick up a trail guide at the entrance and head out to the meadow to begin your walk through native plants, trees, mosses, ground cover, ending up at halfway on the water, for a wonderful picnic spot....More
