This was a wonderful way to see the sun set in Boothbay. The captain and his nephew were extremely knowledgeable about sailing and great story tellers. It was very relaxing and a great way to see the harbor. It was an unforgettable experience.

This was a lovely early afternoon sail. The madness of Boothbay had vanished as it was after Labor Day, but the beauty of the area remains. The Captain and his son made a terrific combo and filled our sail with stories and information. You could...More

Our group was ten people looking to experience Boothbay from the water and we weren't disappointed. The captain and his son were very safety conscious and gave a good briefing on what to expect in terms of the schooner's shifting in the wind. It was...More

Hi Nick: Perhaps you missed in the briefing before we set sail that this is not a narrated tour and there is no running commentary. And I believe as in every briefing that it is mentioned that you are welcome to sit in the cockpit...More

Had the very best time with the captain and his son first mate! Other sails were a bit less expensive but we are happy we paid a little bit more. Not as crowded and just the best experience of our trip!More

Glad you enjoyed your sail. But to be fair...our other schooner competitor is $2.00 more per adult ticket for a 2 hr. sail... and the less expensive sloop only offers a 1 1/2 hr. sail, and not 2 hrs. None-the-less we are pleased you choose...More

Our group of 12 chartered the Lazy Jack on a warm August day. We were worried there wasn’t enough of a breeze, but It turned out perfect. Captain Bob (Captain Joe’s) twin brother was so much fun and kept us entertained with fun stories.

We did a cruise on the Lazy Jack in mid-July. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Boothbay. The whole experience was extremely professional. I highly recommend doing a cruise with them.

Captain Joe Tassi has just refinished his beautiful little schooner Lazy Jack. Boothbay is a lovely harbor to sail from. I would recommend this trip.
