Paul does look as big as he did when he 1st arrived in Bangor but kids are still amazed. The lore of Paul was usually taught in school which makes it more fun.

It has been in Bangor since I was a little girl and would want to go up to him and have my picture taken. It's awesome and kids love it

Uery unique and interesting. We only had to drive a few miles off of the route we were taking to get to it. It was well worth it we took lot's of pictures and goofed off. It was an experience in itself.

If I had to pick a fictional character celebrity crush it would be Paul Bunyan. Doesn't feel like I've come home until I drive past this statue.

In downtown Bangor. Good place to snap a pic of the kids. Takes about 3 minutes unless someone is ahead of you.
