well worth a visit, the local are very welcoming and friendly, the locals offer you home made raki and home grown fruit. Go sit in the shade of the tree and enjoy a meal and a drink. we went on the happy train.

To see it in person is the only way to fully appreciate the height of this natural gem. Its height and width is colossal.

What a privelege to see such a magnificent tree. It grows next to a natural spring and clearly loves where it is located. Amazing.

cant believe a tree can be so old, 2000 to be precise, this is opposite the fountain, im glad its been made a greek monument, nice restaurant under this for sitting in the shade with a coffee or wine and sit and absorb the history...More

To gaze upon something so old is a privilege. The stories that tree could tell. When it was a sampling Jesus and the Roman Empire were in existence. Amazing

I do like trees, & have great respect for this magnificent 2000 year old Plane Tree. Well worth a visit to see, and enjoy its generous shade.
