Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great beach for family and children, with shallow waters in a separate small cove (perfect for paddling) and nice sea next to it for the more serious swimmers. It gets busy from around 10am but calms down later in the afternoon. Parking is limited close by buts there’s a couple of options within a short walk which usually have spaces.

Sadly this lovely beach is let down by poor service at the bar/restaurant. The food is OK but the service is substandard with little regard to COVID protocols (despite lots of signage) and general respect to customers. Feels a little like lip service to comply with the rules and regulations rather than a genuine regard for customer safety and satisfaction.

After a couple of poor experiences here we decided to use the bar/restaurant on the next beach along which was similar in terms of food quality but service was with a smile - a real sense that staff cared about service, safety and overall experience.

It’s a real shame there’s such a difference as it’s not as convenient but if you’re serious about service and coronavirus safety then sadly this beach bar/restaurant is best avoided.

This has been a family favourite for over 10 years as our kids were young and now teenagers . Great access to the sea with shallow and more deep available , split by a small rock outcrop. Water clean and you can see the whole beach if watching out for kids.
There was always a great beach bar for drinks, snacks and ice creams ... seems to have closed this year ... this is a real negative for us and unfortunately will start to look for another favourite .

Lovely , beach parking and access can be an issue in the peek season . Life Guards present from end June to September , to cover Spanish school holidays .
Access to beach is via some step steps , although there is a level Access and drop off point.

wide beach with clean sand. sloping beach into sea very good for young children. A few rocking areas to add interest. free parking nearby. Wonderful walk along cliff face.
toilets and beach bar have been closed by local council due to "strange reasons" and claims of underhand financial deals. This is common with a number of beaches in the aera.

It's only a few minutes drive off of the N-332. Park on the main road. We parked about 300 metres up the road. Parking is free everywhere we have been so far. The beach is made up of 1 larger sandy cove shaped beach and also another smaller beach just around the paved path around the cliff. In the far right hand corner of the smaller beach is an area which is sheltered from the waves by some flat rocks which is ideal for learning to snorkel or taking smaller kids for a swim. The waves weren't huge on the 2 days we went. The larger beach has loads of room between the road and the water so plenty of room for everyone. Larger beach has large fixed parasols for hire and a beach bar. There are toilets and lifeguards on the larger beach. Supermarket is about 5 min away if you want a cheap lunch. Saw plenty of people with a few baguettes coming back down to the beach around midday. There are wooden walkways onto the larger beach from the road for prams and wheelchairs also the path around to the second smaller beach is paved but theres one set of stairs round that side to get up and down. We have found that the Spanish on holiday leave the beach for siesta between 3 and 5 in the afternoon. First time we went was after 5pm. Still very warm. Better for the kids we think. Midday was OK if you had a parasol. Plenty of cheap shops around on their N-332 away from beach areas to get cheap chairs parasols and cool bags. We've been to 4 beaches in the Torrevieja area so far this week, this has been our favourite so far.

Have to agree with the previous review, this is a stunning beach with lovely views. It is incredibly clean and beautiful clear water. In summer it gets very busy and the little bar there is very popular. Great beach for winter as it is protected a bit on both sides.

I was staying in Cabo Roig only about 3km from here, and not many people were that familiar with this beach, they all tended to go to Cabo roig beach or the beach at Campoamor, this one was much quieter, but still offered much for the tourist in line of water activities,, a good clean and easily accessible beach too.
I will be back in Cabo again in the future, and will be back here too, it's a beautiful beach.

The best beach in the area. Soft clean sand, safe swimming and a good beach bar with decent toilets. The only possible negative is the lifeguards declare red flag conditions very quickly when it’s choppy, if they were in Cornwall it would be red flags every day.
