We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My family stopped in here while visiting Queenstown. We loved being greeted by Cassidy the golden retriever. My husband and son played cricket and my daughter loved the trampoline. The wine, cider and cheese platter were delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We have very fond memories of our time at Waitari Creek.

I was slightly surprised to find a woman given the OK to go ahead and change the nappies of an older child while we were sitting nearby. Staff were friendly but poor wine selection and a cat sitting on one of the tables made us have a quick visit and not order any food. Might be nice outside on a sunny day.

A great place to stop for wine or beer tasting in Gibbston Valley. In an old church from the 1800’s, very nice staff and generous lunch options.

Will soon be more about the beer than the wine.
Wines very average and the beer is ok but pretty much standard fare.
The cheese board was ok. Whitestone cheeses and a few bits and pieces but not enough biscuits to go with it.

Loved the location, the refurbished church, and the wine! One of my favorite wineries near Queenstown!

Nice enough stop to try half a dozen wines, the cellar door is in an old church that has been relocated to the site. The new owners are setting up a craft brewery and already offer beer and wine tastings.

We were so looking forward to our wine tasting and pizza that we enjoyed on our last visit. Unfortunately no pizza or food, $10 per person wine tasting with free wine tasting on purchase of 3 bottle of wine....

Sad to see so many changes from a great place to visit.

This winery is a labour of Love, It is on the wrong side of the valley for all sorts of reasons but the wine maker has created the most enduring wine. This is not Jug wine!
Their last Sauvignon blanc vines that yielded only every few years produced this liquid of the gods for a last time as they could not sustain such vines so buy what's left of it!
Their Pinot was reflecting a different terroir but most of all the people were lovers!
Lovers of wine and it showed. Other local products were also available, honey etc… easy to miss but don't.

We visited Waitiri Creek on the Queenstown wine trail. This was the second time we had been to Waitiri and to be honest I was more impressed the first time than the second. Don't get me wrong the man taking the tour was lovely and so friendly I just found he rushed through the wines a little bit so I didn't really have time to enjoy each one. I'm not a big Chardonnay fan but I must say I did enjoy the Waitiri Creek Chardonnay. I love the atmosphere of Waitiri, so small and intimate! Would be perfect for a wedding
