This was so nice to get up and close to such a misunderstood species. They are surprisingly cute and my partner and I had a wonderful time. Nice informed staff and even got to feed one 😊

Probably just repeating everyone else - great experience, you will fall in love with the sting ray rather than be scared of them as most of us are. So friendly and playful and graceful. You spend a full hour in the water so I think its great value. Really well run, everything explained clearly and with a smile. Very friendly and expert guides. Teen kids really enjoyed also.

Great experience. Really friendly. So great to be able to see that actually sting rays are very friendly and so nice to see them in the wild. Did experience like this touching in a pool at SeaWorld in USA which was very good but the one in the wild is the very best and have brought my fear down I think I would now be able to swim in a zone where I have seen a sting ray pass as before you would not have seen me in that water. Great job! Good familiarisation to sting ray.

What an awesome experience!! We were meet with a warm greeting by one of the amazing ladies, who went thru what would be happening with us. She spoke in a kind manner and was really good even when the children were being loud!! 😂 The spot is just beautiful!! Our children had fun exploring while we waited for our tour to start. The staff, Nina, Matt and Felix were all wonderful!! They answered all our questions and very just very kind, approachable and professional.😊 We enjoyed learning about the different stingrays before the tour started. Nina was very knowledgeable about which stingrays were who and shared plenty of information with us. Interacting with the stingrays was definitely the highlight for us all!!🤩 They are truly beautiful creatures and very clever as well. Yes we only saw a few stingrays, but that’s half the fun of interacting with these amazing creatures of the sea!! I would highly recommend doing the stingray tour!! The team at Dive Tatapouri are really amazing and just awesome people!! Book a tour!! You will not be disappointed at all!! 🤩🤩

My family and I saw this experience on a travel show and so decided it was a ‘must do’. The experience was amazing and to actually touch and feed one of these amazing creatures was quite incredible. Just to see the rays swimming around us both back and front by our feet and having the opportunity to touch them was fantastic! The staff were incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable when asked questions. They also put you at ease if feeling a little anxious about the experience. This has been the highlight of our trip to Gisborne so far and would highly recommend you give it a go.
