Lovely small crumbling hill town (avoid the ugly modern lower town) with picturesque views over the surrounding countryside, easily reached from Potenza by car & bus (a change maybe needed) and makes for a pleasant half day out to stop and enjoy the silence

very nice historical part of the village with lots of ancient buildings. The weather is sometimes unpredictable due to its location on a hilltop ;-) There are many unexpected historical events coining this village.
