Tour was filled with information about the area and the families that lived there. The tour really takes you back in time.

Due to time, we just stopped to take pictures of the Mansion, grounds and the Log Home on the property. Beautiful grounds, Mansion is a sight to behold, can only imagine what it looked like on the inside.

I learned a little about John Wood but I didn't find it that fascinating. I have seen a lot of old houses and this was nothing special to me.

We had a wonderful tour of this historic place. We learned so much and our guide was excellent - thank you Bob! We felt it was well worth the cost. There was so much to see with period furniture, and museum quality items.

Interesting, and has some historical Quincy and Illinois relevance, but certainly not an attraction I'd travel to see.
