I live in very close proximity to the cemetery. And in the death care industry for 30 years. I want to say that I am extremely impressed with the conditions of Resurrection Cemetery also Bethania Cemetery. I would be so nice if the "big box" corporations would show some respect and take care of your cemeteries.

Great job to the staff at both cemeteries 😁

Looking for Mary the ghost's grave but couldn't find it in section M-M. Enjoyed viewing a lot of the old graves. This place is a must trip.

But, I wouldn't what to stay here. Best know for Resurrection Mary. The ghost of a beautiful young woman killed on her wedding night. She's been seen hitchhiking along Archer Rd. in her wedding dress. If you pick her up, she will ask for a ride home. The front gates of the cemetery.

As cemeteries go, I gather this is one of the better ones in the neighborhood. I'd recommend to anyone.

This is almost all of my family's final resting place. We have gone here for many years now, and go currently. It is a well kept place, and always peaceful and quiet. One of my favorite places here at this cemetery, is a section of the cemetery devoted to all the baby's and children who have passed. It is up a small hill, with some pine trees, flowing back and forth in the breeze, and I have been comforted in a special way in that spot by the slight sound of some wind chimes blowing in the breeze. It is a special place. There are some older graves in the older section, found by the large monuments and more trees. But in general this cemetery is not as old as so many of the historic cemeteries that we usually visit when we travel around different parts here, there and everywhere!

We stopped by to see the new 28 ft. bronze statue of Pope John Paul 2nd. It was on top of a hill and was very nice. We also went through the mausoleum. It is 3 stories and has a good history about the Poland and the Polish people. This is a nice place to visit and learn about the polish people.

The Mausoleum has the largest stain glass window in the United States. Very impressive sight to visit.

Very interesting area to explore. The markers are truly unique and memorialize the Polish members of the Chicagoland area

My wifes family is buried here. They do a decent job as far as taking care of the grounds. During busy days such as fathers, mothers and memorial day along with Easter, ect. they have police helping you get in and out of the property. All in all it is above average place.
