We visited the zoo recently. We were amazed how much freedom and room to live the animals have compared to English zoos. It was wonderful to walk amongst them. The animals looked very healthy and well fed and cared for. Exceptional value for money.

We visited Landgoed Hoenderdaell with our 2 year-old son. It was the first time that he could see real lions, tigers and bears. The animals are kept correctly, they are in good shape and it was interesting to watch our son's reaction to the animals.

Not exactly your regular zoo. Very relaxed visit with enclosures you walk through. Lion feeding demonstrations and actual interactive birds of prey displays where kids are asked to participate.
