Spent a day playing in the sand with forty or so seventeen year olds who reverted to happy children. A lovely trip out.

This is a great beach but was marred by the amount of rubbish everywhere, the bins were overflowing and there was rubbish scattered all over the sand. I’m sure that a more frequent clear up would make the beach virtually faultless. Plenty of places for...More

Good place for a pinic, we went with friends and had a great time just soaking up the sun and watching the ships go up and down the river. The only down side was that the toilets wich cost 20pence a time to use would...More

It is not surprising that Crosby Beach is known locally as ‘Sunset Strip’. The beach is great with Antony Gormley’s iron men ‘Another Place’ stretching over nearly two miles, the sunsets however can be breathtaking.

Well worth the trip to Crosby beach to see the figures, apparently it is best to see them when the tide is in, or turning so they are submerged, we were there with the tide out, but impressive all the same. Well spaced apart, might...More

Too many irresponsible dog owners frequent this beach. A Shetland pony had its lower jaw ripped off and a little dachsund was set upon and killed by three out-of-control dogs while their owner looked idly on just a few days ago. The owner of the...More

The Leisure Centre has ample parking and is, literally, a few steps from the beach. The sand is glorious and the statues of "Another Place" are all around. When the tide is in, the sea is acceptable but, be warned, there are often quite a...More

We’ve been coming to this beach for years and have never had a single complaint. Consistently quiet with ample paid parking, great facilities in the leisure centre, a fantastic playground and lake, coast, sand dunes and grasslands. There’s seriously something for everyone here. It’s dog...More

your able to get onto the beach using the slip way at Crosby and Burbo Bank. this is ok for prams and push chairs that can be carried on the soft fine sand , so the beach itself is not ideal for wheel chairs, a lot of people... More

There's very little sea glass at Crosby, mainly rocks, bricks and pebbles and lots of razor shell near the tide line.
