Tui HQ is an experience centre with a lot to offer. Equiped with a newly built brewery on site amongst the garden bar, conferencing and private functions facilities, a Cafe, Bar and also our Tuishop - The home of all things Tui. Come and take a tour, have a tastings and take home a personalised bottle with your name on it or just relax while the kids play out on the lush green lawn. Our special brew Henry Wagstaff is a great match with our Fish & Chips....certainly worth a visit to check out.

Passed by with 2 tourists and was very surprised how friendly and enjoyable the visit was. We tried different beers, the staff provided appropriate drinks for m driving, we used the outdoors billboard which was fun, had some food. Ronny - you are an impressive host. I would recommend this as a place for families and children to stop.

Last minute decision to call in and check out the tui store an have a bite to eat. Hubby was extremely happy to stop An pick up some new tui merchandise! Meal was yum! Fish n chips were so good and meal size was generous with 2 pieces of fish. Hubby had the Paua fritters which again was a generous... More

Me and my son were the only participants in the afternoon tour. We had a lot of fun with our tourguide, who was well prepared and enthuthiastic. The beer samples and glases included in the tourprice made it worth it.

We booked for a tour beforehand, which I recommend. Tours were twice a day 11.30am and 2.30pm. Tour guide was very good, knew all about the brewery and had some interesting historic information to tell us. We had lunch after the tour, food was tasty, well presented and not too expensive. There is a good little shop attached to the... More

Thanks for sharing your great visit to the Home of Tui! We are sorry that you didn't receive an umbrella in the rain, but thanks for the hot tip, we will certainly be making these available to our future tour groups! More

We had good fun here, we like the beer as well which always helps and we got to try a fair bit. They put a great spin on all their marketing so there little shop is also worth a visit. We also decided to stop and eat and I really enjoyed the food as well as the Tuimata sauce on... More

This is always great and happens the last Sunday of every month. Sonny Tatana plays a great range of music for a mixed crowd. Locals, families, tourists and coach tours are some of the listening ears. What a pleasure any time of year. A cold beer or hot coffee and a meatlovers Pizza to share is always the go.

Tui hq is a great place to stop if driving Wellington to Napier, a mid point and not many other options. Fish and chips are great and lots of beers and merchandise options and eating outside on a sunny day is great. New craft beer brewery just opened and the historic tower is being base isolated to protect it from... More

Absolutely the worst and most pointless and boring trip I have ever been on! How they can call it a tour is beyond me. The website states a 40-minute tour. it took less than 15 and that included a crap and uninformative video at the start! The guide was reading the facts to us from a leaflet! Not even done... More

The Tui HQ is a fascinating slice of iconic New Zealand history, deep in the beautiful Mangatainoka Valley, just a few minutes off State Highway 2 from Waipukurau. The cool clear filtered water from the Mangatainoka River is on tap as well as a range of tasty beers for which it is the key ingredient. We arrived in time for... More

The main brewing might have moved but the tour is very informative about how the brewery came about and the history of the area. Depending on which tour you pay for you get more from it. Plus the HQ pub has good food and all the Tui classic beers so take a sober driver.
