Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There is no doubt that the COVID pandemic has had a negative effect on the farmers markets in Chicago. There are fewer venders than in the past. My wife and I could see the effect when we visited the Division Street Farmers Market. Located on West Division Street, between State Street and Clark Street, in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, in the heart of the city's bar and entertainment district, it opened for business on May 7 and will run until October 29. It is open every Saturday from 7 to noon. According to the Chamber of Commerce, which monitors all of the city's farmers markets, the Division Street market is the most popular of all. Venders sell seasonal produce, flowers, prepared food, crepes, wildflower honey, eggs, cheeses, vegetables, fruit, herbs, plants, baked goods, watermelons, garlic sweet potatoes, fresh bread, pastries and salsa. My favorite vender sells fresh apple and cherry pies, banana bread, streusel, fresh Polish and raisin bread and pastries. Love the apple pie. One every Saturday in the summer is a tasty treat. Here's hoping more venders will fill up the vacant spots along the two-block venue in coming weeks.
