On a day trip to Glencolmchille I discovered this beach and it is absolutely stunning. If you had a picnic or walking it is perfect there is a cafe and shop nearby and they were selling Irish Coffee the day I visited.

This beach has to be one of Ireland’s finest. Horseshoe shaped at the end of the majestic Slieve League cliffs it has to be seen to be believed.

The drive out to the beach was beautiful, and the beach was absolute perfection. The evening we went we had the beach almost to ourselves...very peaceful. Great spot!

Fun drive to Silver Strand Beach and Malin Beg area. Beautiful view from above. There are a lot of stairs to the beach but worth the drive.

The beach is beautiful and it is definitely worth a visit, it can be quite windy but there are places you can shelter from the wind. We dipped in and the water was calm and very clean. Highly recommend a visit!

THERE are LOTS of steps to get to the beach, but is worth it. The beach gives a different perspective to the many cliffs on the Donegal shoreline. It is very much out of the way - we added this to our itinerary after the...More

There is a hostel within 2minutes walk - Malinbeg Hostel. Another self catering accommodation at Aras glencolmcille. Plenty of b&bs & some airbnb properties nearby too.
