Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent selection of unique and local finds.
I live in Idaho City and always enjoy seeing something new when I stop in.
The owner is enjoyable and makes you feel welcome.

Now does that teleport you to the past or what? Lol
This is a stop that bags you to at least see it for yourself. Very affordable prices it seemed from what we had seen elsewhere with a very nice selection. We enjoyed it and did the full town visit.
Hope you enjoy

The variety of items in their new location is great. We love buying from local stores whenever possible. This place has great prices on souvenirs and other miscellaneous gifts. The store owners are always so welcoming and friendly.

Worth a stop as part of your gold rush history experience, it is an interesting mix of a vintage store with antiques and craft type gifts.

We got there a little late (around 5:30PM) and the place was closed. This little city resembles a movie set but it is authentic. All constructions seem to be from the pioneer times and it preserves that feeling. Many opportunities for photos. It is about one hour drive from Boise, so it is convenient. It is slow pace city, good place to spend a couple hours.

Little souvenir shop in Idaho City. Just a typical shop one would find with T-shirts, souvenirs, and other items from the area.
