The Mall
About
Amidst the verdant Tuscan hills, this open-air outlet mall is a prime shopping location. Shop luxury fashion brands like Prada, Valentino and Ferragamo while enjoying steep discounts of up to 50 percent—you can find bigger discounts during summer and winter sales. Additionally, non-EU residents can get tax-free refunds by presenting their passports in exchange for tax-free receipts. If you’re not here for the bargains, visit the Gucci Caffè Restaurant where you can take in wonderful panoramas of the lush landscapes all around. The Mall is open everyday and you can hop on the daily round-trip service from central Florence to get here. – Tripadvisor

Go only if you are going to spend
This outlet is unique in the sense that it carries mainly luxury brands like Armani, Gucci, Montblanc etc. So you are not going to find middle class items here. The other unique thing is the shops are spread out apart and not under one big roof. For big spenders for sure.

    Terrible bus
The Mall as always was lovely. Lots of high end shopping. Some deals but always a discount from the stores in town. My major problem is the bus system there and back. An utter zoo. I will assume the problems with purchasing tickets was my fault. But getting on the bus was a nightmare. You think you are in a line and then they open a different door and there is a mad rush. Coming back was worse. You “line up” in the correct spot and then the bus pulls up across the street. Mad rush again to wait. Then later another bus pulls up in the correct spot and total mayhem as everyone rushes back. So much shoving. Pushing. All because there is no method. It is literally push your way on. People who got on wanted off. Others didn’t have tickets. Others brought their luggage on (not allowed - only your purchases that day). And only the driver to deal with this all. I felt sorry for him. And angry with this company. The Mall needs to get a better company or insist this company figure a way to make lines ups work. Literally disgusted with this set up.

    Nice luxury outlet mall
The Mall is a nice area that offers luxury shopping at reduced prices. The largest store there is the Gucci store and it has some really great deals. There is also a cafe to get food, and you can file your paperwork for the VATS tax on site. This Mall offers a bus service that picks you up not far from the train station and will return back to the same area. I would suggest making reservations and buying the tockets online for the bus as it can get busy. The bus ride is approximately 45 minutes to an hour one-way depending on traffic.

    Shoppers bliss
Amazing, there is the possibility of getting bargains up to 50% reduction. I bought Cucci shoes and Burberry jacket both 50% off. Highly recommend a visit to The Mall. Parking is easy, shops are spacious, sales assistants courteous, a true paradise for designer labels at more affordable prices.

The Place to Buy Italian Luxury Brands at Bargain Prices
I will definitely return. I think if you can afford a driver to take you there and wait while you shop that is the best way to go. You’ll also have the ability to stash your bags while you shop for more. The Shopping Center is outside, there is a great restaurant for a quick bite to eat. I shopped mostly in Gucci, the inventory was very limited as they were waiting for a new shipment so, a lot of what I was looking for in shoes were sold out in my size. Many of the things are produced for this outlet the same as the ones in the US, so be aware of that. I will say that Gucci sandals I purchased at Sawgrass were half the price that I paid in Florida. Again, many of the canvas logo wallets also were missing the metal GG but for the price, it’s well worth it. I also got a wonderful deal on a Alexander McQueen jeweled knuckle clutch for half off. Do your research before you go so your familiar with the retail prices Lori Piano, Brunello Cuccinelli, Prada, and so many more outlets.

Great place to find deals on luxury pieces
Definitely skip Prada and Gucci as the items they stock are made for outlet and of way worse quality (hence why the stores are comparatively so big). You're better off going to Chloe or YSL for more mainstream luxury brands that are actually stocking out of season goods. If you can spend, Loro Piana was amazing.

    Fun experience
We booked tickets for 10 euros each round trip to go to The Mall. The buses were at Piazza Montelungo which was near the train station. We did not have any problems with the bus either way. The ride was about 30-40 minutes. We booked our trip for 8:50 but was crowded so we ended up on the 9:10 bus. We booked an appointment at Gucci at 10:00. Gucci was the most popular store. The stores open at 10 so that would be a recommended time to arrive. We found some purses that we felt were reasonably priced and at quite a reduced rate. Burberry and Moncler were two other stores we liked. It was fun to pop into the other shops as well. There were several restaurants that served light snacks, wine and lunch. Highly recommend.

In this shopping center they steal absolutely everything! I parked behind Prada to go shopping and they forced the door of my car violently and took all my suitcases, they stole everything from me, all my valuables, and mysteriously the next day they left the suitcases at Hugo Boss without all the things of value. DO NOT GO!!

This place is a crime haven, but no one makes other people aware. My car was broken into and the staff and police are very aware but say nothing. The car park at the back of Moncler is a crime haven. Avoid this car park.

This is a terrible place. The bus takes about 40 minutes and you are wondering why you are going to this remote location. The outlets are spread out in the open which is not good in heat. Did not think there was anything special. Felt like this was wasted time that could have been spent better in Florence. If you have something specific to look for it might be okay other than that we would not recommend.

Don't fall for the luxury bus!!!! It was anything but luxury! While they can claim they had air conditioning; it was so hot! The wifi did not work. I would never ride it and the mall was not worth it.

We didn’t enjoy our day there, we rent a car in Florence and we went driving there, it took us about 35-40 minutes to arrive, a huge space and the shops are scattered than all together and it was a problem because it was too hot. Lots of shops with brands but unfortunately we didn’t find something… sad… we tried food and drinks in a cafe there and it was nice and tasteful (not the big one in the center, because it was the only one there and had a huge queue).
