Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An unlimited artistic experience in such a small community. Housing many exhibits throughout the year as well a theatrical production for local talent and travelling productions.

I have been away from my family for far too long. The distance between who I was and who I am seems to have only been one day. But I do not even recognize my own family now. My heart breaks to think of what else I have missed out on. I AM COMING HOME. I want to see this lovely place my sister and my mother have found.

The art changes often at the Turner Center for the Arts and it's always beautiful. It's FREE and a beautiful quiet COOL way to spend a couple of hours with the grandchildren. I take them one at a time and we walk quietly and whisper (as in how we were once taught to behave in libraries...remember that!) They always find something they love and something that makes them giggle and we have lots to discuss when we leave. It's an excellent way to expose them to different ideas and see what appeals to them. They also have a lovely gift shop.

Valdosta is blessed with an array of talented artist. The arts center is a very attractive and user friendly facility. The center is well run and offers great exhibitions of local art. The establishment of the Turner Center for the Arts remains an exciting venue for lovers of the arts.

Brought a group of 21 (16 teens and 5 adults) to visit the arts center on a church trip. Bill was awesome and the rest of the staff was wonderful as well. The arts center was wrapping up with spring exhibit and had some very interesting and very beautiful work displayed. Loved walking around the gallery and hearing from Bill about the different pieces and artists. Definitely visit AHT Arts Center - very enriching experience! Be sure to bring some cash to donate! Keep the arts going!!! Also, they have a cute/small gift shop.

This is a great little "no entrance fee" gallery that displays mostly local children's art, and some for very impressive. There are some pieces for sale. Winning ribbons are displayed with the art work - so you find out what is acceptably best. We were a family group of 3 generations and we all liked it - the African display was beautiful, and the elephant feet end tables - icky - you could feel the hairs on the elephants skin - creepy - and FUN!! We rested just outside and enjoyed the artwork, took pictures.

Been here many times. They have a lot of excellent contemporary southern painters on exhibit. Always have a lot of special exhibits too. The annual juried open art show is not to be missed. They have a lot of classes. Together with the art program at VSU, Turner makes our small town a cultural treasure.

I've been here a couple times and I'm always surprised by the different exhibits they have. Not many people come during the week. So if you have an hour free, stop by. It's worth it to be able to see real art in Valdosta!!

My husband and I go to many of the viewings throughout the year, and he even competes in some of them.
