Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fairly small, but well organized garden area. Nice surprise stop in the middle of the town. Easy access and walk.

Was in Thomasville for the Rose Festival and went to the Rose Garden. It was amazing. They had so many different varieties of roses. Definitely worth the time to visit.

This should be higher on the list of things to do in Thomasville! The trail around the lake is just about 1 mile, surrounded by beautiful trees and picturesque rail bridges. I saw turtles, ducklings, birds, and friendly people of all ages. There are nice benches around the trail to relax and take in the scenery. The Rose Garden is just off the trail and was in great shape. There is a gorgeous gazebo and the largest magnolia trees I've ever seen. Just breathtaking!

We recently visited for pictures among the beautiful rose gardens. I was amazed at the selection of roses and the beauty of it all! My husband was snapping photos left and right while I was sniffing the blossoms!

Since was November very few roses left on bushes but we enjoyed walking around the area. Cherokee Lake was really nice with the 1 mile walk. A lot of people enjoying just walking around it. Area for picnic was nice as the play ground. Bathroom facilities available. We have been in bigger rose gardens but for the size of the town this is certainly a nice attraction.

There are some nice roses here. Not the most impressive I’ve ever seen. The good news is that a walk around the lake is always wonderful.

Thomasville rose garden is located right next to Cherokee River Park so you can visit both places at once if you have time. Located just over a mile East of downtown off Smith Avenue, with the parking lot on Covington Avenue. I only intended to visit the park but ended up parking right by the Rose Garden. Obviously the flowers on display will vary with the seasons but it is still a beautiful and peaceful place to visit and appears to be well maintained right through the winter months also. I hope to return in the summer!

Well, we were there in late September, and as my wife and I are both judges with the American Rose Society we were impressed with how clean the bushes were, but of course it was not a good time to see bloom, we hope to get there one spring bloom season. They looked to be well cared for.
