One word: amazing! The atmosphere, staff, drinks, and food all exceeded our expectations. Each one of their spirits is overly unique (husband and I have tried quite a few spirits in our day 😆). I am no gin drinker, but we did a flight because the various flavors intrigued us. While it didn’t totally convert me, I could definitely drink them when mixed the right way! However, their spiced rum is one to be reckoned with! The cinnamon like undertone make it vastly unique and the smooth finish makes it super easy to drink alone. We will definitely be back with friends in tow!!

Stop reading and go there! The rum and vodka they make are smooth and strong. Waiting anxiously for bourbon. When I walk in it feels like Cheers, everyone’s my name. It’s cozy and relaxing. The bartenders are top notch. Drinks are great, not watered down. The soup and sandwich combos really hit the spot. They also do weekly entertainment.

1861 is a fabulous addition to our town. Friendly staff and specialty cocktails that rival anything available in even a much larger town. I spend months every year in NYC so I do have personal experiences to compare.
The hubby and I are regulars. The staff has what I call the “Cheers” attitude. If you are old enough to remember the television series the theme of the bar was they remember me here.
We stop by with friends for a drink, or after a meal elsewhere. Really excited to have their kitchen back which closed briefly because of staff shortages.
We also have bought multiple bottles for our home bar and as gifts. Looking forward to the whiskey available this week.

We stopped in for lunch and decided to come back for dinner. The food here is 5 star and the atmosphere tops the cake! Jessica, Roseanne, and Amber were amazing and made the entire experience phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back for the pretzel and beer cheese, bean dip, and amazing pulled pork tacos!! Thank you ladies for the great food and great company. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

The staff were phenomenal. They were so nice and made sure we were happy with the drinks we had. The pork tacos were a big hit! Definitely would come back and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good date night or get together.

Highly recommend taking the tour! Great drinks in the tasting room by Jessica! Pina Colada was my favorite! My husband liked their IPA. Tour by Marty was fun & we learned a lot! The owner Brian came out a few times to talk to us before & after our tour. Everyone answered our questions and made this a great experience! We will be back for sure!

Excellent distillery tour from the owner, who is very passionate about what he does. We took a tour of the back of the house and got an explanation of the entire process. Everything is aged in smaller barrels than most large-scale distillers resulting in a more flavorful product.

Terrific spot. They know their bourbon. Flights. Cocktails and a local brew too. They have tours and classes of you need a cool date night. We had a wonderful lunch. The food was fresh and the staff were so personable. Don’t miss this spot .
