I love this place! It can get crowded so on a gorgeous day go early and get a spot! There are also great hiking trails around. It beautiful and relaxing and fun!

Not exactly a state park but an "outdoor recreation area" on the Flint River operated by Upson County, this beautiful 1300-acre tract has a lot of shallow water, a ramp for non-motorized boats, picnic shelters, porta-potties, a small playground, and a couple of hiking trails....More

Sprewell Bluff is a nice park to visit.You can swim,picnic,cookout,run,walk,play and have all kinds of entertainment.

Great place to camp or spend the day. The view is beautiful with the river and rocks to climb. We grilled and just enjoyed being outdoors.

I'm from ever-flat Florida so I'm conscientious about not "making a mountain out of a mole-hill" haha. But I was so surprised by the height of these bluffs, pretty smack dab in the middle of GA. Not like one would expect. The views are beautiful....More

Not a big park but a lot of out door activities. Also a great place to relax an read a book. You would think you're in the north ga mountains not middle ga had a great time.

They also have grills. Nice area very clean with bathrooms and a park for kids. Wear shoes if you getting in the water it has a rocky bottom. The $5 per car fee can be paid at the shack upon entrance but if no one is there... More
