Great place for a hike. Clean, nice scenery, and a whole lot of solitude on a weekday in March. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

They are really expanding this place. They are blazing new hiking trails and building cabins and have a little store for ice cream and drinks. Amazing trails and overlooks. Looks like a mini version of North Georgia Mountain areas but much closer to home.

Everyone should visit this park at some point, especially if you live in Georgia! I am fortunate to live within three miles of this park. It is great for family adventures such as grilling, sunning and canoeing the Flint River.
