About
Dickey Farms has been growing peaches in the heartland of Georgia for over 120 years. Our growers are part of a multi-generational legacy with experience being handed down from one generation to the next. We’re proud to be home to Georgia’s oldest, continuously operating peach packinghouse. During peach season, our guests love to watch peaches come in from the orchards and out to the grocery stores. Our scenic peach packinghouse is an open-air facility complete with a gift shop, market and rocking chairs to watch the peaches being packed in-house. We serve a variety of baked goods, farmers market vegetables, ice cream, vintage drinks and an assortment of marketplace items to shop from. Located right in the middle of the heartland of Georgia, historic Musella GA is a small town that will have you feeling like you’ve ‘stepped back in time’. We’re just a short drive from Metro Atlanta – making it the perfect country day trip for your family. Our fresh homemade peach ice cream is made with real Georgia peaches picked right from our orchards. We do not use any artificial flavoring in our ice cream, instead we focus on choosing the sweetest Georgia peaches from our orchards and let them do all the talking. Dickey Farms has won numerous awards for our fresh peach ice cream, most recently being named “100 Plates Locals Love” by the Georgia Department of Economic Development Tourism Division. Georgia Tourism’s second annual list of “100 Plates Locals Love” is featured in the state’s culinary guide, Georgia Eats.

Best peaches & produce! Love Dickeys! Family owned & run. Fabulous peaches & you pick strawberries (so naturally sweet, I cut back on the amount of sugar needed in my homemade jam). Delicious peach, strawberry & toasted pecan ice cream. The pecan is only available very occasionally. Boiled peanuts made the right way. The atmosphere can’t be beat, sitting outside on a covered porch in a rocking chair with ceiling fans going, you don’t even mind (too much) that it’s hot as heck out.

The peaches are so good. And be advised, they are good while still feeling firm. This is a lovely stop and it was great to eat some true Georgia peaches. It’s not too far from the interstate and is worth the stop. Oh, and the peach ice cream & peach cobbler is also worth it. So get ready to get your peach on : )

My summer is never complete without a visit to Dickey Farms. If you want the best, sweetest peaches ever, this is the place to go. Enjoy the wonderful peach ice cream while you sit in the rocking chairs and watch the world go by, or you can watch the peaches being packed and readied for shipping as they come from the orchards. The Dickey family has been growing peaches for over 120 years. They are the best.

I love Dickeys peaches. I have never had a complaint until I bought a medium basket of Big Reds on 8/16/23. I am just now able to eat some of these (9-1-23) and there are more that are still not soft enough to eat. I believe somebody picked these way too early. The taste is just not up to snuff since they were picked green.

My friend asked me to go with her to Dickey Farms to get ice cream. In the past my go-to was at the Peach place in Fort Valley. Dickey Farms peach and strawberry ice cream is the best hands down!! Came home with several containers of it, fresh peaches and some peach jams. A very nice ride from Columbus, such friendly folks and a relaxing place to sit a spell!!

Called before driving 3 hours to get canning peaches. Asked if they were clingless and advised all their peaches are. Got there was told again by 3 employees all their peaches were clingless. Bought two large boxs 1 smaller box. The peaches were small but again I was told they would come right off the seed. Well they don't !!!!! Wasted 7 hours for nothing. I will drive a little farther and hit a different peach grower.

We love Dickeys Farm. The freshest peaches anywhere. They also have a good selection of other fruits and veggies as well as the best peach ice cream anywhere!

We visit a lot! Love the homemade peach ice cream and sitting in the rockers on the porch while we enjoy it. Also buy our peaches here.

Was a great stop on our way home. Very crowded but people were social distancing. Great place to pick up some fresh peaches or other farm items. Fun to see the peach sorting for shipment while you look around.

Great peaches that you can buy by the case if you want, or just a few. Cool porch to hang out on while eating their house-made peach ice cream. On the way out I felt like a savory snack, so I bought a bag of their salted roast pecans. Their pecans are perfect: fat, buttery, just enough salt and roasted to perfection. I now mail-order a big multi-pound bag at Christmas to be shipped to Chicago. I have not been able to get pecans that good anywhere else. Go to Dickey!
