In order to have an amazing dive trip, 3 components are needed: 1. Professionality - An high-end gear and boat combined with an experienced and professional instructor are making your dive comfortable and enjoyable. 2. Good diving spots - having unique and unusual spots will make your dive unforgettable. and last but not least 3. GOOD VIBES - Good energy and attractive vibes are summoning the most beautiful creatures into your dive! (at least it's what I believe ;) ) With the Banda couple you get all of it! the dives with them were one of my bests and definitely unforgettable ones. We got professional photos from the dive (attached), all the gear was super professional and comfortable, and Banda is an experienced guide who knows all the great spots in the area and has the best vibes. During our dive, we saw a big group of dolphins who joined our bout ride for a couple of minutes, flying fish passed few meters away from our boat, smiling fish swam near us during our dive, and we visited a boat wrecking. We are really thankful for this adventure!

After months of reviewing the "millions" of Dive Shops in San Andres, Band Dive Shop made to the short list. The reason for the research was not only for safety reasons but also for the fact my 12 y.o. would debut in ocean diving (coming from Texas, only lake diving in our region). Contacting them via Whatsapp was not only convenient but very fast. Gloria would provide complete and speedy replies to any sort of questions, including but not limited, to weather, how busy the city was, etc... She was extremely patient with my "Google Spanish" that works well for most of the time... but not all the time. lol. We reserved dive for one day, to try-out the Shop but also to guarantee at least one dive. Wife and daughter included. It was made online, months in advance, and it was easy. The Staff and Crew: When meeting the staff in person, it was great. Extremely polite, friendly and professional. The right amount of "goofiness"to amount for a relaxed environment but the seriousness necessary to guarantee a safe dive. Briefings were customized for the divers. My 12 y.o. daughter was given the necessary information for her level and the same applied to me (diving for 30 years and former Navy). Marlon was a great, fun and professional dive master. The boat: Spacious, clean and well maintained. It allows for a comfortable and fast rides to the dive sites, easy in/out of the water and enough shade / sun to meet all divers aspirations. The dives and dive sites: If you are looking for tech-dives, do yourself a favor and either enlist or apply for a marine career. The dives in San Andres are gorgeous, in warm waters and depths that will allow you to savor the sites. Dive masters did a great job keeping everybody safe and maximizing bottom time. Lead the way to see great coral formations, aquatic animals while protecting both (no monkey business, touching corals, chasing animals, etc...) Safety-stops performed and easy, relaxing, fun dives. After our initials dives, we liked so much that we would have gone back every day during our stay in San Andres. Due to time and travelling constraint (just in the brink of COVID-19 curfew), we dove two other times. Same great experiences. The above and beyond: Luis Banda was on-board of all the dives and was our dive master in one dive-day. Great guy, easygoing and very experienced diver. My 12 y.o. used a dive computer from the shop (borrowed) and on the second dive realized she did not have it. After informing Luis, about the occurrence, he had no worries about it and said we would search for it. (of course we would pay if not found). Watching videos from dives and surface dive, we figure out the last time the dive computer was on my 12 y.o. wrist and went back to the dive site. Luis "eagle eyes" Band, upon entering the water for a "search-rescue mission" spotted the computer in literally 10 seconds. (of course the crystal clear water helped...lol). Gloria was kind enough to assist us finding a reputable boat tour to take us for a great snorkeling day (one daughter does not dive). She not only aid in finding it but connected with the person and follow-up later to make sure we had a good time. The overall experience: The family and I had a great and safe (very important when diving) time diving with Band Dive Shop. I have no restrictions in recommending them and WILL definitely dive with them again. I hope this review helps you to make an educated decision as well.

We booked 3 days with two dives each. The instructors Misocal and Marlon are really nice dudes and they are great at their jobs. The equipment is as good as new and clean. All 6 dives were in different spots and each was very good. Great job, guys!

Really good diving experience! I really enjoyed diving with this school! All the equipment was new, the school is well located and the staff is really nice and i did my first night dive with them... of course in addition to San Andrés beautiful dive scene! You can see turtles, rays, lobster, octopus, crabs, trumpetfish and many school of fishes! Would definitely go back to this school when I’m back in San Andrés!!
