Have been on a number of these, and this was not best presented. If you 'shadow' one of the guided tours (must be available thru another site, not the ship itself) you get more info. Not the usual complement of volunteers to offer info, though...More

This was an interesting place to visit. We enjoyed exploring the ship and seeing the displays they had. The staff was very informative too.

We came with extended family on a Sunday afternoon. Some of the party realised that there is parking right in front of the ship while others mistakenly paid for parking nearby. The people working onboard the ship were friendly and helpful but, we basically had...More

We visited this museum on a groupon and it did not disappoint. You can explore the entire ship and there are some volunteers roaming around to give you a bit more info if you want.

I usually read a book while my husband does this type of museum - I’m glad I joined him on this one. Interesting piece of WWII history - Made even better by the on board guide and chaplain Gary! Full of interesting anecdotes and facts.

if you are a historian or just like history, spend as much time Lurking about the ship, but if it's curiosity that is getting you, about an hour should be fine
