It was my absolute joy to visit Guity once again at her home gallery this morning… I have taken many international visitors to meet her over the years who each independently fell in love with her art work now hanging in their homes as far away as Tennessee USA and France. The view from her home is as breath taking as her original paintings that capture and radiate light in a unique way .. if you are blessed enough to make the journey to Opoutere, I’m totally sure you will find yourself drawn to one of her paintings and, like me, perhaps carry more than one home to hold a special place in your home. Guity is a renowned international Artist and we are blessed to have her in residence in NZ.. she is so worth the visit to Opoutere.. a taonga (treasure) that transcends time as her paintings live on in our homes across the globe. Thank you Guity for who you and your husband are that is painted into each brushstroke of your golden artworks.

This place deserves 6 stars; It's not just another gallery. Driving up the long sweeping driveway, as you crest the top of the hill you enter another land. Entering Guity's (the artist) house is an experience of its own; so peaceful and rustic with magnificent views. Guity's presence adds a dynamic, that words can not express. Then Guity's works of art; her passion and love for both the land and people poured out on canvas in so many layers and depth; we found ourselves viewing each painting over and over in different lights and from different angles to fully appreciate her vision for each piece. No photo can do them justice. You need to experience them for yourself.

What an amazing artist and place. We spent an hour with Guity and were mesmerised by her art and soul. They’ve created a beautiful home but also an incredible art collection that inspires you to follow your dreams. We are very happy to have started our art collection with two of Guity’s incredible art pieces. Merci infiniment 💛

Walking into Guity’s studio is captivating - incredible pieces on every wall that pull you one way and the next, then a view over Opoutere which has to be seen to be believed. Guity is a wonderful spirit, creative soul, and this is felt in all of her work. We were lucky enough to purchase 2 pieces to start our collection - thank you, Guity, can’t wait to hang them in our home. Definitely worth the visit!

Thoroughly enjoyed my time with Guity and her amazing, unique art. Her newest works have such depth you will find a new colour every time you look from another angle. Recommend a visit if you’re looking for a new piece for your wall.

I found the art and atmosphere at Topadahil Art Studios very special. Guity is an amazing artist and her passion shows in her art and her life outlook. We talked of art and Kahlil Gibran and she quoted some of my favourite passages from the master. Her art reminds me of his writings.

So lovely to spend time at Topadahil with Guity. We first visited around 27 years ago when we bought a painting called In Love Again. Bought 3 lovely pieces today. Just wonderful. A beautiful place with beautiful art.

After an unexpected walk up the hill we were greeted by the lovely Guity at the door, not knowing what to expect. You enter the gallery and are immediately welcomed with such an incredible art collection. Not only the art is amazing but so is the view from the windows. Guity is such an inspiring lady, she’s funny and passionate about what she does. I feel honoured to begin my art collection with one of her pieces. I wish her all the best.

Guity welcomed and shared her story on how she became an artist and she started painting at 11 years old. Her passion for art and sharing it with others is amazing. We loved being able to view her collection at her home at the top of the hill it is evident that her inspiration comes from the beauty of her surroundings and the beauty is transferred into her vibrant and talented paintings. We are looking forward to coming back to visit when we return to New Zealand!

What a wonderful experience revisiting Topadahil Art Studio! Over 28 years ago pregnant with my daughter I purchased a little print “Still Waiting For Zoleila”. Today I find out Zoleila just had her own baby - on my birthday! I’m now walking away with another beautiful piece of art - “Happiness Child”. Guity is so very welcoming - what a magical place.
