This was our third time with Water Planet, and it won't be our last. We had Glen (Coach) as our captain. He has Zoology degree and knew the names of every creature we came across. We had bad weather hit us shortly into our adventure, but he took the boat to calm area to ride it. So glad we did because after the storm passed, we saw non stop dolphins! (So remember this if you get caught in bad weather, there is hope!) Right now (July 20, 2021) the water is not very clear so it was very difficult to see them under water. But Glen didn't give up and we saw them under water on multiple occasions. I was close enough to touch one, but didn't as they had informed us that our fingernails are like razors on their skin. I appreciate the knowledge and respect Water Planet has for these amazing creature!!

Glenn is amazing as well as our intern (Krista) who took a great GoPro video underwater for us. She was great at encouraging our 10 yr old. Glenn made sure we had every opportunity to swim and see dolphins. I am obsessed with properly and safely seeing dolphins in their natural environment and this was the best experience I have had. Just remember, as hard you want to, do not reach out and touch the dolphins!

This was an awesome experience for me and my family. Truly unique and the kids loved it. They really worked hard to give us what we paid for. Worth every penny.

We had an awesome experience, even though the water was rough and murky. Our guide, Coach, was amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He kept on trying to get us out with the dolphins while fighting with the waves too. We saw lots of dolphins, including a momma and baby, saw a shark, and lots of little creatures at Shell Island. I fractured my foot getting back in the boat and Coach was very helpful—got me an ice cold water and even wheeled me all the way back up to the parking lot when we got back. I would definitely do this tour again if we come back when the water is clearer! Awesome experience and very good trip for the cost! Worth every penny!

We went out with Captain Dennis on July 1st with our 16 and 10 year old kids. A young couple was also on our boat (pontoon boat). I really liked that there were only 6 of us and the captain rather than a ton of people. The boat ride itself was fun but seeing dolphins close up in the water was amazing. We were directed to sit on the bow and then the captain would yell “Now!” and we’d jump into the water. Sometimes we couldn’t see the dolphins but sometimes they were swimming right underneath us! While our kids decided to not jump into the water, they were just as excited to see the dolphins so close and helped the captain point them out. Later we went to Shell Island and explored the shallows. Tip: wear water shoes! We found lots of hermit crabs, baby fish and the captain found a blue crab (everything released back into the ocean). What a fun afternoon!
