Such a great day!
Sep 2021 • Couples
My husband and I spent the afternoon here and really had such a great time. We did the kangaroo & sloth encounters and cannot express how wonderful Sam was with both encounters! She was super knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about the animals. I really appreciate all the information she shared with us during our encounters and made the experiences truly amazing. The cup of animal feed was awesome for feeding lots of different animals. I also loved the budgie sticks available for feeding the beautiful birds and lettuce for feeding their giraffe. Would definitely recommend spending a day here! Thank you for such a great visit!

Feeding the budgies, barn animals, and aligators was the highlight. Small, overpriced.
Sep 2021 • Family
We did not pay extra for any of the various encounters, and in retrospect, our experience would have been better if we had. We did buy the feeding cups for the barn animals, aligators and budgies, which our six year old enjoyed. We got through everything in a little over an hour. This is a very small zoo/park. Overall, we were underwhelmed and did not feel the pricing was appropriate. We would not return if in the PCB area again.

Simply Not Worth $75 for 3 Adults
Jul 2021 • Family
Goats, goats, did I say goats? $75 for 3 people was just too much - two of us had military IDs but they only allowed 1 discount. I could see paying maybe $50 tops. Would I go again? No. If you have little kids it has an ok petting zoo.

A little walk with animals and enjoying nature
Jun 2021 • Family
This is not your typical zoo. This park is smaller and more interactive. We arrived later in the day a few hours prior to closing but still made it around the park without issues. We bought the cup with animal feed and the sticks with bird seeds when we entered and got the tickets for the 2 leaves of lettuce for the giraffe. We strolled through quickly locating tortoise and birds. The enclosures are unique allowing you to see the animals clearly. We made our way towards the goats, noticing them freely roaming. My wife and daughter quickly made friends with a small one and fed her quite a few handful of feed. The giraffe was not interested in the lettuce but some other animal ended up getting it. The bird cage is amazing, so many friendly birds that will land on your arms, shoulders and heads just to get to those seeds. Its a different feeling but so neat. We found the gators and they all seemed pretty lazy, we bought the feed out of the dispenser which looked like small pieces of dog food. Once in a while they would go towards it but normally they ignored it. We did get to see someone that had bigger biscuit looking food toss them and the gators were a little more lively. The lion was also neat to be so close and see. There was also a peacock freely roaming the paths. We very much enjoyed the visit, its worth the price.

Alfred, the baby kangaroo!
Jun 2021 • Friends
We were vacationing in Panama City Beach, FL earlier this month and stopped at ZooWorld for the morning. It was really a good time. The employees were very knowledgeable and the variety of animals were fantastic.

We signed up for the “experience” with the kangaroo and were fortunate enough to meet and hold Alfred, the baby kangaroo. This was the highlight of the trip for me.

If you are in Panama City Beach and want a break from the sand and saltwater, take a trip to ZooWorld. You will be glad you did.

top notch!
May 2021
We did the lemur and the giraffe experience. Wow! So impressed with this place. How could anyone leave a bad review? We were there the Sunday before Memorial Day. Got there 5 mins before they opened and felt pretty good about that (huge accomplishment for our crew). Well, the parking lot was already full, line at the door, lots and lots of strollers. Check in process could have been a little faster- the gal we had was new and kept asking questions. There should be a separate line for those who already purchased tickets online. That was the only slight downside for the entire experience. All the exhibits were great, seems as though the animals are well cared for. Several reviews mentioned lack of signage. I saw signage and information for all the exhibits. I was impressed with all the extras- good landscaping, lots of shade and benches. For example, at the hyenas, there was music and memorabilia on the shelf, a plane that kiddos could climb in to add to the "safari" experience. The hyenas were amazing, could see them well and I saw one do a sprint. The lion and two hyenas share the same exhibit space and they swap out the animals every other day. The 60 alligators were cool. The alligators I've seen before would just lay there- these were moving around and they liked their food! There were dispensers where you could get food (like fish food pellets, but bigger) for 50c. Highly recommend the animal experiences. My 10yr old really enjoyed- and we all got to hear extensive information about the animals and ask questions. Lemurs- there were 3 (Mario, Luigi, Daisy) and they all came around to see him. One stayed close to him almost the entire time. He said they were super soft. They also will take a phone and take pictures for you- we got GREAT pictures. The food cups are $10- you get food for the petting area (goats, miniature horses, llama, 3 food sticks for the birds, and tickets for the giraffe). You exchange the tickets for 3 lettuce leaves. Just know that if an giraffe encounter is going on, the giraffe will be at the other side of the area. So wait until the encounter is done (15min) and the giraffe will come back- so cool to feed them! So neat because the only way to feed the giraffes at our zoo at home is by paying for a very expensive behind the scenes tour. We asked about the giraffe because his coat looks terrible and was told he (Tony) has acne because he is 3 years old. Just the bottom part of his coat is affected- his neck and face are untouched. Also did the gem mining and got lots of cool rocks, fossils, and shark teeth. Loved this zoo and will definitely come back!

Sad place
May 2021
This is a sad place, rundown, not immaculate cages as they state, many displays empty, and few animals in huge cages, The water was green and slimy, just depressing.

Needs work, lots of potential
May 2021 • Family
It's not very large and will only take you maybe an hour to get through it if you don't do the extra, expensive animal encounters. Feeding the parakeets was a lot of fun. Feeding and petting the farm animals was fun as well. As others have pointed out, some animals appeared sick or overheated. Some of the habitats need work. The giraffe needs more room. The rabbits were overcrowded and overheated. Lots of the zoo looks great, with ample landscaping and decoration. So they're on the right track, but there's much room for improvement.
