    Great day out
We visited with our 8 year old son and at the beginning I was worried. We ended up accidentally going to the wrong park - we wanted the adventures of bay one . It’s very confusing . So after pretty much realising straight away we went to the correct one only to be told that our tickets have been scanned and we need new tickets. I went to guest services and explained and Amani very thoughtfully gave us passes for free after I explained the situation. We had a great time. Seuss area was brilliant and meeting the raptor was definitely one of the highlights . We didn’t get express passes as was not going on the rollercoasters. As everywhere food/shops are expensive but I still brought two T shirts
Hey there, Thank you so much for this 5 star review! While I'm sorry to see there was some confusion with our theme parks and using your tickets, I am very happy that Amani helped take care of your family during your visit. I hope your family got to explore one of my favorite areas of Islands of Adventure, Camp Jurassic! I can't wait to welcome you back for another adventure soon. -Chrisy

    Universal delivers !!
Just forget about the money you are spending (which is a lot!) and think about the great time Universal offers. Parks are clean, well run and family friendly. Yes the Harry Potter areas are crowded but everywhere else is very accessible.
Hi John, Thank you so much for this 5 star review! I love seeing how much you enjoyed your time in our parks, and I hope you're family got to take a spin on one of my favorite rides, MNE IN BLACK Alien Attack. I can't wait to welcome you all back to the Universe soon! -Chrisy

    Rides and roller coasters
Universal is a little like a grown-up Disney. There are some aspects of Disney our kids (10-11) are starting to outgrow, and Universal has some legitimate roller coasters on Islands of Adventure. They also have some nice 'themed' rides set in the worlds of their various franchises. The Wizarding world is a fun experience with a lot of attention to detail (although doesn't quite match the scope/immersiveness of Galaxy's Edge, although it does have more rides). On scale/detail nothing can quite match Disney World, but there's a lot of fun to be had here, and if we come back we will probably want to spend a few days here to see the things we didn't get to.
Hey Lisamarie, I'm happy to see you had an enjoyable time experiencing all of our exciting attractions! I really hope you had the chance to experience one of my personal favorites, Revenge of the Mummy, during your visit. We appreciate you taking the time to leave this review, and we hope you get the chance to visit again soon! -Carlos

    Great Park
This is a great theme park for adults and children. They have great rides designed around great movies like The Harry Potter series and The Transformer series. The Harry Potter section is incredible, it looks just like the movie series.
Hi Derrick. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Universal Studios Florida, and that you found our lands to be so immersive. Make sure you check out Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon during your next visit, the queue is well themed and the attraction itself is great fun! I hope we'll see you again soon. - Victoria

    Great Fun!
A brilliant park with amazing rides! The Bourne Stunt show was very good. Areas’s of the park got closed off between 8-9am, and by the time you got to a ride they were about 2 hours long. A lot more fast pass users get to go through before normal queuers, and technically puts the normal line on hold and extends the wait time, we saw that mainly on the Fast&Furious Supercharged ride, which was supposed to be a 20 minute wait. I personally recommend eating in the Richter Burger Company restaurant for a quick, nice meal. There are plenty of refillable stations placed around the park, and also free wifi around the whole park. Will be returning in the future.
Hi Gracie. Thank you for your review. I am thrilled that you enjoyed your visit to Universal Studios Florida. Isn't the The Bourne Stuntacular just amazing? I love how immersive it is. I am sorry to hear of any disappointment regarding attraction wait times throughout your visit, and please be assured that your feedback has been formally documented and will be reviewed by the proper leadership teams. Make sure you try the BBQ Brisket Burger Platter at Mel's Drive-In during your next visit, it is one of my favorites! I hope you will visit us again soon. - Victoria

    The Bourne experience is awesome
The Bourne experience was incredible. The actor on 6/14/23 for the 12:30 show was so believable. I sat in the front center and it was fantastic. At one point they had to stop the show but a director came out and shared some fascinating facts. Just a great experience and excellent acting!

Two days of fun but parks not as good as used to be
We were only in Orlando for one week of a 3 week trip to Florida and never get to do everything we would like to fit in but a visit to both of these parks has always been a must do for us when in Orlando, one day each side. We did have fun but some of the rides have become quite 'clunky' and not smooth any longer and some areas are looking a bit tired to be honest since our last visit 4 years ago. Several of us ended up with headaches and one even had neck pain for several days afterwards...we have never had that after prior visits. However we did enjoy a butter beer in both sides Harry Potter areas!
Hi there! We appreciate your review! I'll be sure to share your comments regarding attraction quality with the proper leadership teams. If you would like to discuss your visit further, please contact our Guest Services Department at 407-224-4233 or via email at GuestServices@universalorlando.com and reference your review username. We look forward to seeing you again soon, and I suggest seeing The Bourne Stuntacular on your next visit! - Emily

    A Surprise 18th Birthday Trip
We had a 14-day ticket, so we visited lots of times and days. We found the early morning visits were better, and we got all the big rides completed before it got too busy. Can't fault Universal it has everything and more. It's a shame the parades have been taken off as it was a good way to see all the characters in one place rather than trying to find them all around the parks. All rides were great, and the shows were incredible. Universal always pulls a big ride out, and they really have, I just love Jurassic Park. A M A Z I N G For some reason, everyone loves to queue, even when it's not necessary. Just use your brain. That's why we all have one! There are plenty of water fountains, and you can use the water from the Coke machines around the park.

I am sorry to hear of any disappointment regarding our entertainment experiences, and please be assured that your feedback has been formally documented and will be reviewed by the proper leadership teams. Queue for das pass was over an hour and they have now changed the process where you have to fill in forms online for this pass. I am from Scotland and had no idea of this. Waiting in a queue for das when the problem is anxiety in long queues is unacceptable. Seemingly they had a staff shortage. Really unfair on the staff who were just doing their job but really taking a lot of grief

We booked 2 days at Universal and with fast lane passes. We love Harry Potter and were really looking forward to doing as much as we could. Outside of the Wizarding World, though…that’s where the magic ended. The parks are poorly themed, often looking chintzy. the food was okay (except Mythos, which was great). There is really nothing special about these parks outside of the Wizarding World. There’s not a lot of shade, and I found myself just wanting leave most of the time as it was hot, loud, and boring.

Im sorry but universal has gone down hill since the 90s … adding new attractions that has nothing to do with movies or entertainment that we once loved and actually enjoy riding : For one example They really took off the twister ride to put a boring jimmy Fallon ride ! , The disaster ride for a boring fast and furious ride that you just sit on a bus watching a big screen full of people fighting and running Nothing special . and back to the future ride for a Simpson ride that is basically a waste of space nothing exciting about it Slow cars moving with animation and the ride is done 🙄. The king kong ride is another waste of space , the men and black ride is really nothing special !! Another slow car with no excitement and the list goes on all the motion rides that once stood that gave excitement and scares and it all gone!!! all i can only recommend is the minion ride , the mummy , ET (which thank god is still standing ) , the shows for kids and families, and the Harry Potter ride . Other than that im very disappointed not wasting my money nor going back . Islands of adventure is your best bet at this point .

Really enjoyed our day at Universal studios Florida. The areas are well looked after. Harry Potter section was a big hit with kids especially the Dragon:) other areas were great too, enjoyed seeing the characters from different movies. Rides were awesome, not too scary. And waiting times were not too long. Definitely worth visiting:)

I should say that the group of 3 we were with a 60-ish years old and it seems that nearly the entire park is geared toward a younger crowd. It's not that there was anything we disliked, it's just that there wasn't really anything for us "older folks" to do that didn't involve moving rides.

It's a great park...and the kids that were there seemed to love it.

They just never asked what older folks might be interested in...

This place is like a post-apocalyptic nightmare. The noise levels of competing simultaneous music are deafening. The decibel meter on my phone (that I use as I have tinnitus) was going into Danger mode and I wasn't even on a ride or indoors. We had to leave after an hour. I thought I was going to go mad. The place is dirty, badly signposted and staff are mainly rude or non-existent. Hard pass.

We did Disney last year & have to admit, we were disappointed with Universal in comparison. The customer service is nowhere near that of Disney, there’s just no comparison. While the thrill rides at Universal are something that Disney doesn’t really offer (Velocicoaster & Hulk are on another level compared to Tron & Guardians), but this doesn’t make up for the poor customer service, lack of slick theming & upkeep compared to Disney. Basics like poor queue planning, unfriendly staff & not keeping on top of park maintenance (paint work etc) means that Universal felt slightly shabby. We spent a fortune on express passes for one day because the spring break crowds were unbearable, yet for some reason the most popular ride in Islands (Hagrids) isn’t included in this so we stood in the queue for 2 hours. We saw customers were visible disabilities forced to wait in the standard line along with everyone else in the blistering heat & unbearable crowds. It made for an unpleasant and expensive experience.

We queued for over 40 minutes at Guest Services to request an “Attraction Assistance Pass” as my grandson has autism and is a flight risk and gets anxious when standing around for too long. Also my daughter is undergoing cancer treatment and was advised not to stand in the sunshine for any extended time. We were greeted by Evan who was a credit to the organisation, but sadly that appeared to be the highlight of our day.

Why quests with disabilities have to queue with those wanting a VIP pass was a mystery to us. There was only one lane at guest services and whilst queuing we only saw 5 other families that needed the additional assistance, the rest were after VIP passes. Not a very disability friendly organisation from our perspective.

Whereas with Disney we could book on a ride via an app on our phone, and then using the map have a slow amble to the ride, at Universal Studios this isn’t an option. You have to walk to the ride, talk to a cast member to book your slot. Due to the restrictions on being able to only book on one ride at a time (which I fully understand) we then had to hang around in the area for our time slot, to save walking miles backwards and forwards. We went to the express queue and then found we were queuing with everyone else, how is this supposed to reduce waiting times and anxiety for those with disabilities?

On the Hagrid ride, my grandson became very agitated with the 40 minute wait in the blistering heat, this was on top of the 55 minute wait to get into the queue! By the time we arrived to get on the ride he just wanted to leave.

The Transformers ride was out of action when our time slot was available, and we couldn’t face another long wait, so the one ride he wanted to go on, we couldn’t.

The mobile app doesn’t always appear to show where you are in the park and also what restrictions there are on the rides. A printed map (like Disney) was a treasure map for my grandchildren and they were disappointed not to have one at Universal Studios. Restrooms don’t appear on the app either, again they show on the Disney map.

With a grandson who is almost 4 we were turned away from rides where we thought he could ride, which was extremely frustrating.

Having purchased 9 of the 14 day tickets, I have to say that we as a family are not very keen to come back to Universal Studios as we felt the park discriminates against those with hidden disabilities.

The final nail in the coffin for the park in our opinion was trying to find the exit. We followed the signs and ended up walking around the park a third time. When asking a cast member we were told to turn left at Starbucks, ironically when we got there, there wasn’t an exit sign visible.

All in all a very disappointing and very expensive mistake to make in coming to Universal Studios.

My final comment is that Universal Studios clearly aren’t interested in your views, they just want your money. I emailed them 4 days ago and surprise, surprise they can’t be bothered to reply.

We had an amazing and memorable day at Universal Studios! The new Minion land is absolutely incredible, a highlight of the day was the minion cafe, such a fun experience! The rides are all amazing, wait times were bearable, we just managed to do everything that we wanted. There really was something for everyone and I think the theming here is fantastic, as a massive Disney fan I have been converted to Universal on my recent trip to Orlando! Next time we will stay at a Universal hotel to experience some of the perks offered, especially early entry!
