Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice walking trails for a leisurely walk in a nice wooded area. Trail also has raised boardwalks over some wet areas.

This was a beautiful and peaceful stroll. Perfect to hold hands and walk next to your favorite person in the whole world. About a 20 minute walk

I came to Monticello for a birthday trip with my mom. We had fun exploring. This little park with the natural trail was very relaxing. It took maybe 45 mins to walk the whole loop. It's very easy to walk. We enjoyed it.

The park is nice, we have been doing our best to volunteer time in keeping the Park paths clean of debris since my partner is legally blind. We clean the trail once a month. We started doing this in 2019 because we are Birders and it's important to keep the habitat usable for wildlife. Our goal is to keep nature beautiful for Nature and Humans.

This is obviously a park that was well-thought-out and planned. Unfortunately, it does not seem to have anyone taking care of it and it is in a state of disrepair and overgrowth. Most disturbing for an "ecological park", there was trash all around, even in the stream, and a large metal apparatus of some sort that someone had dumped there. The bridge was covered in slime/moss that was very slippery and unsafe. If you go, use insect repellant and check yourself and your pets for ticks as you will find they are plentiful. I just wish someone would maintain this park; it could be very lovely!

We were impressed by how well constructed and well maintained this ecological trail is. The boardwalks wind through a variety of landscapes, and there are helpful signs which explain the environments and the trees. We took about 25 minutes, with lots of stops, to walk the entire loop trail, which is less than a mile long. There are a couple of gravel parking spaces and one paved handicap parking spot at the street entrance to this trail. There are no restrooms. Highly recommend a visit to this trail, particularly for families with children.

Having traveled across the country, hiking and exploring our nation's parks, I was very surprised to find this hidden gem in little Monticello. The canopy of trees give you cover from the sun, allowing you to enjoy the wandering path and boardwalks. A great place to go on your own or with the family.

Forest bathing is a practice of walking mindfully in forests. It's fun and good for you. Every 15 minute walk in woodlands have shown to lower stress, blood pressure, and heart rate. Walk the trail and focus on the sounds-your footsteps-birds-and your breath. This is a perfect place to enjoy nature and get healthy.

The whole park under a canopy of trees is on boardwalks that go over streams. It is enchanting. Bird watching and a mile leisurely walk with no hills. The whole walk is to show ecological wonders and our preserved forest.
