I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful spot this weekend. So much hard work has gone into this amazing place. Such a relaxing place to have a wander through some beautiful gardens.

Beautiful tranquil place to visit.

Visited this wonderful attraction with There and Back Again. Barry, the owner, gave our group an informative talk on how he has developed the property. The Tree Church is a very peaceful and beautiful place to sit and take in the atmosphere and beauty. The gardens are well developed and the azalea mollis shrubs were in flower and in such a wide variety of colours. A great place to visit.

What a delight

I drove past this as it was nearby our B&B. Had seen pictures and it was a delight to walk through in the early morning. I arrived just before opening and the owner was charming. He chatted away and introduced me to the garden cat, then left me to wander to my heart's content.

All of our group were impressed with the owner's fantastic work of love, completed over the past ten years. We were given a great welcome, and had the opportunity to sing some special hymns inside the Tree Church to some of the other visitors. Afterwards our host, in response to our request ,gave a special impromptu talk to his visitors describing how his on-going project was started and his passion for things botanical. There was much to see, and our visit was well worth the trip.

Amazing tree church set in a wonderful garden with a labyrinth to wander through. Awesome cottage garden and vegtable patch. Lovely pond full of water lilies and weeping willow at one end. Great place to take a picnic and enjoy the serenity of the place.

So peaceful

It really is a lovely church. It's so peaceful and pretty, and anyone can enjoy the church regardless of their religion. The grounds are also very pretty. Take a camera and a picnic.

Have always wanted to come here since I saw it in tv. This is the year for doing

What a gorgeous garden. The Church is amazing but the rest of the grounds are very impressive too.

Hidden gem
Dec 2016 • Friends
Extensive well tended grounds with fine collection of native trees, flower beds and a labyrinth. Unusual church seating 90 people made of metal frame with trees trained to grow up and over the walls and roof. Weddings are held here and we were told it rarely rains on the wedding party.
Perhaps a bit expensive but worth visiting if you are in the Hamilton area.

Aaaaamazing. Gardeners and tree huggers, this is for you.

It might be in the middle of nowhere, but this tree church and gardens are really amazing. If you are into garden design, plants and tree species and churches this is a must see. It's a place to contemplate, enjoy, meditate in the labyrinth (if that's your thing) and appreciate how one man's passion for church design has married (pardon the pun) his passion for trees. Be mindful it is a private garden, not a park or playground, so if you are after revelry with friends or playtime with children this won't meet your needs. My suggestion would be to take a picnic, like-minded botanical friends and a camera.
