We were lucky enough to fish with Captain Eric on New Years Eve for my husbands 50th birthday and again in early January. Both trips yielded enough fish to feed 8 of us for dinner and many filets to take back to Baltimore. Eric is an easy going captain who let us decide where we wanted to fish - one day deep sea and the other reef and wreck. My son was thrilled to get a Mahi, especially in January. The yellow tail were so much fun to catch and delicious to eat. Capatin Eric creates a great atmosphere on the boat. He does not put pressure on you if you are unsure what to do and makes sure everyone has a great time!! We can wait to return to Key West and fish with Captain Eric again.

My wife and I booked are first fishing charter in Key West with Fishy Business Charter. Capt. Joe was very knowledgeable and friendly. Fishing was slow at times but he kept changing the pole set ups to put fish on the line. We had a blast and will use then again when we come back down.

Great day on the water yesterday. This is the second time we have used Capt. Eric with Fishy Business. He put us on fish both trips and we came home with a cooler full yesterday. Capt. Eric is fun to fish with and is great with kids. Highly recommend Fishy Business If you are looking to fish in Key West. We will definitely call him again the next time we are in town! Thanks for great time, Eric!

Capt Eric managed to get us out fishing between the wind and rain. Had a great time - caught mahi, king and jacks which turned into lunch at Dantes and then fish tacos later that evening. Highly recommend Capt Eric and Fishy Business Charters.

Captin Eric is very professional, enthusiastic, and very funny. He put us right on fish at every spot. His deep sea is a must. Bring your big guns cause with this charter you will need them. If you aren't catching fish ask him what you need to do he has a few tricks up his sleeves. Good luck and fish on.

If you're reading this, you are in the right place for finding the best person to get you out fishing. My family Carol and eleven year daughter Christine were very lucky to be able to spend the day with just Captain Eric. I booked the trip purely on our phone conversation and how easy it was to talk to him about the trip. Which, we booked the day before, because his schedule freed up for our charter. His boat is nice and it got us to where the fishing started plenty quick. Then, once there he had us on Hooked up with Mahi. Just watching my daughter catch some fish was a dad's dream. To the other story ;). My wife looked sick at the moment of departure and I figured that might be the end of it, but she toughed it out for a bit, about 6-7 smaller Mahi worth. Not wanting to press our luck,Captain Eric was the coolest cat and got us headed to some flat water fishing. Once we arrived at our next spot, it became a family fest with Eric being part of our family and listening to our little girl go on and on as any happy, happy kid does when she's in a comfortable place. My wife perked up and the day developed into fun and hanging out, plus catching some grey snapper. This day meant more to us than Captain Eric probably knew;). Knowing every day is a special one for me. I have a terminal heart condition, so no matter how many fish were caught or size or etc. the important part in any good fishing charter is connecting with your Captain and knowing he has touched our lives with just getting us out there on the water enjoying the day. Fish On:).

Very happy with Captain Eric and his first mate Ryan. We had beautiful weather and calm seas. We caught some Yellowtail, a very pissed off Eel and had an exciting battle with a barricuda that ultimately one in the end by eating our Grouper! Eric took us to 5 different locations to show us some good fishing holes. He has high standards and definitely cares about your happiness as a customer. Rare for the business ! He has a center console yellowfin boat. Great for 4 adults or less. We had a great day and ate our catch at Dante's right at the end of his dock. Thanks guys for great memories!

If you want a great fishing experience and not a joy ride then Capt Eric and Ryan are the men for you. I have fished all over the US with many different packages and rarely do you get the "Total Package". Eric and Ryan are truly fishermen first. They care about what you want to do. No preset program just to get paid and back to the dock. They are passionate about catching fish and want to have fun while doing it. Bottom line is I caught my Mahi limit (10) within 1 hour of wetline time. Released more than we kept and spent the rest of the day chasing monsters. The boat is a fishing machine. Enjoyed a full day with some great guys on beautiful ocean and then enjoyed a wonderful Mahi meal that evening. It doesn't get any better than this.

I've been fishing with Captain Eric now for years. I can say without hesitation he is one of the nicest and most genuine charter boat captains in Key West. He really tries to give you the trip that you want, and is not afraid to makes adjustments in the plan when things are not working. More importantly (unlike other captains), he is not afraid to burn as much fuel as necessary to get to the good fishing spots.
My most recent trip with him was just a week ago (March of 2015), and we absolutely smoked 'em! Within 20 minutes of leaving the dock, we had multiple skipjack tunas in the boat, as well as a tilefish on the deep drop electric rig. Shortly thereafter, we got this mammoth snowy grouper (see picture)! What a fish (and delicious too)! And right after the big grouper came another large tilefish.
We had a great day saw everything you could imagine: fighter jets leaving Boca Chica and giving off sonic booms, a pod of large dolphins, sea turtles, and of course the fish we caught. And if all that wasn't enough, on the way back to the dock, Captain Eric and 1st Mate Ryan spoted some blackfin tuna busting bait on the surface. We stopped, dropped a few baits in the water quickly, and within 30 minutes, had eight (YES 8!) blackin tuna in the ice box.
I highly recommend Captain Eric and Fishy Business Charters for your next Key West offshore fishing experience. You won't regret it!

I am planning a vacation in May and want to include good fishing. There will be two of us and we would welcome sharing our time with other parties. Can you give me an estimate of your rates? I am looking forward to your reply.
