The worst waterpark in america.

Trash. Worthless, filthy, run down park milking $$$ out of unsuspecting tourists. It looks good from the outside but wait till you get in.

Not worth the price

Half the park was closed and the staff was extremely rude. We came to the park two years ago and all the slides/areas were open and the employees looked like they enjoyed their job; totally opposite story this visit. Very disappointing, save your money and skip this "attraction".

2nd Visit w/ Strange Rules
Aug 2021 • Family
I brought my kids here 4 years ago and this place was so much fun. All the attractions were open and it looked maintained back then. Now half the park was closed and it was looking like the park needed some care put into it. The 3 best river rides were closed. We were told staffing shortage (heard this while traveling all across the country). The most strange and prying rule of No Shirts (not even water shirts) on several rides and no watches. My husband had to remove his shirt which he wore for sun and slide abrasion protection. So, if you have had surgeries or body parts you like to keep private you will be forced to either skip ride or strip your shirt. I witnessed a very large person have to remove their shirt and reveal their large breast, it was a man but hard to tell. I thought that was terrible and likely humiliating for him.
So, my husband ended up w/ sunburn. They need to get some good food trucks in there. If I am going to pay for overpriced food it should at least taste good. The $9.00 funnel cake is a deep fried $.50 bread stick w/ liquid sugar poured over. Not sure if I will spend to come back when I can go to Volcano Bay at Universal which has lots of ride & food options. However, I hope they fix this place up, it had one of the best long rapid river tube rides I have been on at any water park.

Looks good from the outside but very disappointing mini golf course. Tiny & mostly flat, like what they designed 40yrs ago.

Very expensive, lots of slides closed, long lines

There were food and bad things about this park. My 7 year old daughter loved it. She loved having an option other than the beach and our condo pool to entertain her during vacation. She rode a few slides but ultimately settled on an area with a small pool 1-5 feet deep and a play area with 5 kid slides. Adults weren’t allowed on the small slides so lines were short for her and she was able to go many times. It was right by a larger slide that operated well and she enjoyed jumping over to the big slide here and there. The lay out is kind of confusing but there are posted maps. There were many slides and attractions that were not running. That was annoying since it was 57$ a person to get in. You can buy tickets online and *only* pay 54$. It is Destin and everything is overpriced so we went there anyway. The lines for food were AWFUL. There’s a coke machine but it only takes cash. We paid 20$ for one cheeseburger and one fry and a tiny 12 ounce coke. The food was mediocre at best. Eat before you go or leave snacks in the car. The food was not worth the long line or ridiculous price. The ground is real hot so bring easy slip on shoes. They don’t let you wear your water shoes on the slides so we had to leave the water shoes at the top of the slide, slide down, and walk up the huge stair case to retrieve our shoes. One of the most popular slides was this big yellow slide. There are two lanes but only one was operating which made the wait very long. My daughter loved the slide but we didn’t want to waste too long just waiting in line. The wave pool is not good. It’s tiny and crowded. We didn’t like the lazy river. It was very congested and shallow. Having to pay for parking when you already spent crazy money for admission is terrible. Overall the park was fairly clean.

Too much money for half of advertized attractions!

Half of the attractions were closed. I don't know if it was a staffing issue or maintenance issue, but half of the slides were closed. I feel like when spending $250 for a family to enter, there should be a price decrease for half the slides closed. No outside food or drink is allowed in andy bag was checked. Totally fine with that until I stood in line 30 min to get 4 bottles of water for $5 each. Son was most excited about wave pool, and after 20 min of no waves we asked the life guard when waves would turn on. She told us not today. Large group of people beside our chairs had grocery sacks full of food, water and beer. We had fun. Just cant believe how much we spent for so little attractions. If you are not running half of them, knock down the prices!! And get more staff to handle the lines at the only 2 open spots to get food and water. Disapppinting.

Fun but could be better.

First the good. It was fun and our 4yo loved the time we spent there. The bad. 1. Oh my god. The bathrooms are awful. Absolutely gross. 2. Staffing shortage. 1/2 the park is closed and you will wait and pay an ungodly amounts of money for water and $12 corndogs. The staff is obviously overworked and most look miserable. I felt bad for them. Over all this park is really cool looking and huge. Wear water shoes!!!! The ground is rough and HOT!

It’s just sad that the staffing shortage is having a negative effect on cleanliness and ability to get water quickly.

Lots of fun but expensive inside.

Our group consisted of four adults and two young teens. We opted to get a cabana with a food/drink server. The cabana was nice for shade and a comfortable place for our group to gather. Our server was sweet, but very overworked. Food and drinks were expensive and not very good. The website said no outside food or beverages were allowed, then overpriced theirs. Slides and other activities were fun. We spent a lot of time in the lazy river. Great day of fun for us all but be prepared to pay a lot for refreshments.

Hehe… where to begin? Let’s just lay it all out in hopes that I can spare someone else the experience I had.

1. No outside food or drink is allowed in the park. Ok fine, that’s fair. They want to make some extra money, go off I guess.

2. The problem with this is that there was an hour long line at the ONLY concession stand in the park with ONLY one cashier. If patrons are not allowed to bring their own drinks, at least make it easier for peeps to buy water during a peak day in July.

3. The bathrooms reeked to the high heavens and looked disgusting. No joke, I have seen Porta Potty’s that look nicer than the bathrooms there. True story.

4. 20-30% of the rides were closed down or unmanned but still operating (waste of water much?). My sister and I went to ride on a slide with two lanes that were both running, but upon reaching the top, we discovered that only one lane was being used. Why? That’s what I asked.

5. There were countless members of staff wandering around. I wanted to ask them if they were ok as they looked around with blank expressions on their faces while there seemed to be empty positions waiting to be filled. Maybe they need a raise.

6. Speaking of said staff, none of them were very helpful. Out of all of the lifeguards that I asked questions to, only one gave me an answer besides ‘I don’t know’. They definitely need a raise.

7. The park wasn’t that functional. Tubes clogged the lazy river (as did humans), trash littered the corners, fences, and under areas of the slides, and the pathways were searing hot as there were no misters and not nearly enough shade. Honestly, my feet feel burnt just thinking about it.

Learn from me, my friends, and do something else more worth your time and money.

Fun time for families but could have been a lot better.

For the amount of money you pay for admission you can’t bring in your own food and drink. This wouldn’t be bad if they didn’t have only one register open with only one employee working the snack hour. Had to wait an hour to get drinks.
Their website stated there was only one attraction closed but there were actually a few slides not open or only running one slide making the lines a longer wait then needed.
Also had to pay for parking at the end of the day. This should be included in the price.
It was a fun day but could have been a whole lot better.
