The stadium was closed. My purpose was to sight see and see the historical landmark.

It’s in the Daytona Beach area surrounded by beautiful trees and an overpass leading to Intercostal Hwy.

I enjoyed the experience.

Great time at the ballpark. We had seats in the front row on the first baseline and while the seats were great for watching the game they are RIGHT in the sun when you arrive and are VERY hot to sit on/in for some time. Otherwise, kids had a great time, we did the belly buster bands- definitely worth the extra money!!

We were in Daytona on vacation and decided to catch the low A Reds team, the Daytona Tortugas, and had a blast. Being from Dayton, where we have the high A team made the experience even better. Love the old school feel of minor league baseball at Jackie Robinson Field.

First, shout out to Kayla who helped us out after my mistake which was to purchase tickets for 6/10 but accidentally purchasing them for 6/9. She not only got us tickets for the correct game but got us the same seats to boot.

Now to the experience ... we love minor league baseball and this experience ranks right up there with the others we have been to.  It was great game (home team won!) and it ended with a spectacular fireworks show.  I would highly recommend this as a single, couple or family outing.

Loved it. Nothing beats local
Baseball and the history of it. Forget the MLB. These kids love to play. Small and fun stadium.

Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona is the home of the Cincinnati Reds’ Low A minor league team - the Tortugas. The stadium dates back to the 1910s and has hosted many different teams. The park’s biggest claim to fame - widely displayed throughout the complex - is that it’s where Jackie Robinson played his first Spring Training games.

A historical venue, but one certainly lacking in the modern creature comforts many fans take for granted. The General Admission area consists of a large (plate to outfield) uncovered grandstand with bench seating (no backs) along the third base line. The reserved section is made up of three covered sections - one behind the plate, and two along the first base line. Aside from the first few rows, the remaining seats have partially obstructed views owing to the stanchions that support the roof. Field level ‘VIP’ seats, with wait service are available.

We watched the first two games of the 2022 season. On opening night one of the two ticket booths was not 'functioning' because it lacked wireless internet access to the teams ticketing system. This caused a fairly large back up at the remaining ticket booth. Those issues were resolved on the second evening.

Ticket, food and beverage (adult & non-adult) prices were very reasonable. There are adequate stall/vendor space for selling food and drink.

In game 'minor league' entertainment was average - early season bugs still need to be worked out to allow 'roaming' video camera feeds to be displayed on the big board.

This is one of the most beautiful and historic ballparks in America. Jackie Robinson played his very first professional game in this stadium, and a museum and beautiful statue recall that moment. The place is the heart of the old, lovely Daytona community, surrounded by yachts and bridges on the Intracoastal waterway, palm trees and mossy oaks, quaint shops and good restaurants. It has a wonderful minor league team, the Daytona Tortugas, who are part of the Cincinnati Reds' organization. All kinds of special events, cheap beer nights, good snacks. This place provides such a terrific outing. It is also the biggest entertainment bargain in all of Central Florida. You can see 10 games for the price of one amusement park.
