Highly recommend a visit to the Riverwalk area of Wilmington. Many restaurant/pubs from which to chose. And the shopping is eclectic and plentiful. Ate at several places and didn't have a bad meal! Live music was everyplace with a great street festival on Sundays. Will...More

Impressed by the city's focused initiative to maintain and expand the Riverwalk. While we always enjoy a walk when we come into the city to eat or go to the Constitution Yards, we have, on several occasions, driven into Wilmington "JUST" for the Riverwalk.

We were in town for a conference and had been in Philly nearby several times, but who knew Wilmington had so much to offer? The Riverwalk is so tastefully and thoughtfully planned, with beautiful lanscaping along the way. There are signs and statues esplaining historical...More

This is sort of a boardwalk that runs for a mile or so along the beach in Wilmington. It runs downtown and by plenty of restaurants and typical beach attractions like shops and snow cones.

Located behind the restaurants, the riverwalk looked quite new, was well illuminated, seemed safe and did offer some nice shots of downtown as you got close. Just nice for a 15 minute stroll.

The area is very pretty now. It used to be a little run down and isolated but they have changed a lot and it is now becoming a nice walking, hanging out area with bars, restaurants and the new movie theater close by.

I consider myself luck to work in an office overlooking he Wilmington Riverfront. In the spring/summer/fall, Families can spend an afternoon here strolling the Boardwalk, playing mini-golf, visiting the trampoline park or Children's Museum, and walking to the Peterson Nature Center to spot wildlife (then...More

They’ve done a great job of building up the riverfront area. It’s bike friendly, family friendly, clean and scenic.

There are not too many activities going on right now, but they have a very scenic pathway, along the Riverfront that you can walk at any time of the year. It's very relaxing and beautiful...
