I have been to the museum a total of three times...every time I experience the same thing. The only reason I went was because my son asked, but I dread going. It's not a bad museum...small, but cool dinosaurs, and I also like the exhibit...More

There are few experiences these days that don’t put a real dent in your pocket when trying to visit as a family of 5. This place is the exception at $9 per person. Well worth a stopover with young kids. There’s generally a special exhibit...More

Great place to take the family. Lots of kid activities involving history, science and nature. Beautiful minerals and shells collections. Bird and animal exhibits. Bring lunch or buy food there and have a picnic outside

Had a good time, lots of hands on for my 6 year old. They did a dinosaur reading session and let him hold fossilized dino poop, highlight of his day!

We went for the special exhibit and wished we had more time for the permanent exhibits. Have been for a special exhibit before and found again this time that they are designed with a lot of hands-on activities for children but have limited information for...More

We took 4 of our grandchildren, ages 13, 10, 8, and 4.5, and spent an engaging afternoon. Exhibits are well done. There are several hands on activities for kids. A variety of exhibits, all well described. The museum is small. The entry fee is high....More

Visited the museum one cold, windy, sunny day and was enchanted by the outdoor sculptures as well as the dioramas inside. Admission was $9 per person/adult. We occupied about 90 minutes of a Saturday afternoon, and would not have done anything differently. Parking is free;...More

We went to this museum with a 3 and 5 year old. We arrived 2 hours before closing, and that was enough time to get to all the exhibits and not feel rushed. Good combination of hands on activities and great things to look and...More

We’ve been to many Natural History Museums in many locations. This one, although small, is one of the best we’ve seen. The most surprising aspect is the large number of hands-on activities for children. We visited this venue on New Year’s Day as a group...More
