Formally the Byres the Hoggs 'n' Heifers is a live music pub which regularly hosts live music events and is popular with bikers. Open Christmas Day along with the Coach House. Check out their live music events.

Great atmosphere and nice staff. Good beers. There are plenty of quirky things in the pub and it would be a regular haunt if I lived up there.

This is a quirky bar, tucked away off the Main Street. It's rather like a barn conversion inside with exposed brickwork and beams. It's a really quirky bar, very atmospheric and busy. Good selection of seating options and very reasonable prices from a well stocked...More

Had a few drinks here on our weekend away..we sat outside in the sun having lovely time..the staff were very friendly and enjoyed choice of draft beers..i wasnt able to stay to watch the live band but maybe another time..

I eat here every Friday with my colleagues the food is cheap, delicious and filling. the Alcohol is an excellent price also. I will continue to eat here regularly.
