Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited during the holiday so the site is kind of closed (no guard, no guide), but I managed to get in and was very impressed with this amazing site. It was a nice and peaceful place to visit and to reflect.

We came and biked over to the tower and then went over to the tunnels and the towers were a nice 15 min stop to look and check out. If you are expecting anything like information or a guide, you will be disappointed. If you are cool with stopping in for a walk about and reading about it on Wikipedia then you won’t.

You can go this place as it's situate beside Da Nang, Tam KY main road. Vehicle can park near the gate and you can enter.
There is a museum also with stone carvings which found that area. The towrs is in bad condition, careful while you are there as some bricks can fell down. Need some work to do clear that arround.
This is a cool place with less people. No any entrance fee.

A huge group of 3 temples which still standing for more than a thousand years .the middle one is around 24m tall.there still some bullet holes on the walls making the technique of ancient Cham people perfect. If you're one the motorcycle trip to Hoian, this is something you should not miss

Was there with my wife---had to open the gates ourselves. Farmer was there to share some of his history and also tell us about future plans. Sunset came and it was magical. The light went right above the towers and in between each one. Wow!

I was there by myself and had the run of the place. I don't think it is a tourist destination.
It is VERY hot in the month of June, So, dress accordingly if you go then. If you read about Champa kingdoms before you go it will be more meaningful. It has a very powerful and mystical vibe. My next trip to Vietnam I plan to go again and take more extensive photography.

We visited in Nov 2014 as part of our journey to revisit where my brother was stationed during the Vietnam war. He remembered visiting the towers back then so he wanted to see again. Pictures from 1971 compared with today differ very little. It was rainy so we didn't wander around the towers too much. Also, our driver advised us that because of the amount of rains in recent years, a very venomous green snake has thrived and could be on the grounds. We were told it's poison had been killing Vietnamese kids so there was a run on garlic. Garlic spread around a house would keep the snakes away. Needless to say, we didn't go into the towers. The towers are slightly off the road. There is no designated parking place; just pull over and park on the side. They are not well marked. There is a sign indicating the towers.

Chien Dan towers represent a group of three towers and each door points to the East. Their foundations are all square in shape, wide-based with narrow steps to the top. There isn’t decoration on the body of the towers, but on the top of the towers were decorated an edging line with many masks of Kala. In Chien Dan, many sculptured artifacts with high value were discovered, especially the Yoni alter and "human animal" statues such as Naga snake, Hamsa grouse, Garuda Bird, Gajasiha elephant, etc which were influenced by Chanh Lo sculpture style (in the end of 11th century, early 12th century).
The towers lie beside national highway 1, about 5km to the north of Tam Ky city.
It takes you 1,5 hours drive from Hoian city and about 2 hours from Danang , But we think that the better route next few year will save more time to go here
