Having been on many guided tours in various locations around the globe, yesterday’s Jack’s cycle tour was right up there with the best I’ve been on. Daniel and Adam’s knowledge of, not only Cumbrae, but the surrounding area is simply encapsulating. From somewhere that is right on my own doorstep, I came away from yesterday’s tour a more knowledgeable person. Their witty and humorous delivery made the 10 mile cycle feel like a jaunt down the lane. For visitors to the area and locals alike, this is a must do experience.

This is no ordinary bike tour. If you want to be entertained, have a laugh and learn a little about the beautiful island of Cumbrae this is the tour for you. After a short ferry ride from Largs we met at the bike shop in Millport. Different bikes were available for all sizes and abilities of riders. You could even upgrade to an electric bike if you're not a regular cyclist. However there really is no need as the tour comprises just 10 miles of flat, easy riding on quiet roads with regular stops for informative, interesting and fun facts. Following a short safety briefing we set off. We each had a walkie talkie so there was a running commentary from our two hosts Daniel and Adam throughout the tour. We stopped at points of interest to be told informative tales of local deeds and legends.
There was the opportunity to stop for refreshments along the way plus a couple of toilet stops if required. It was a great way to spend a few hours doing something a little different. Yes you could just cycle around on your own, but you would leave far less well informed about not only Cumbrae but also the Clyde and surrounding landscapes. Well done Daniel and Adam.👍🚴♂️☀️🥞☕

I went on this bike tour having never been to Cumbrae and have left feeling like I've explored every corner of it! Jack and Daniel are so enthusiastic and you can tell they love sharing their knowledge of this beautiful part of the world with you. I had such a laugh with the everyone on the tour and think anyone travelling to Cumbrae should sign up! I am not someone who cycles regularly however the route was VERY doable. We went at a nice and easy pace the whole way round which meant you could absorb all of the islands sites. Thanks for a great day out guys!

We highly recommend this well organised bike tour of Cumbrae with Adam and Daniel. You get a good overview of the island and it’s landmarks with interesting stories along the way. Our guides were very friendly, took group pictures for us and answered all our questions.
Such an enjoyable few hours of cycling on flat quiet roads with beautiful scenery. A must do !

The tour round the island with great stories of local land marks and the island’s history was great fun. Daniel and Adam, tour organisers, were knowledgeable and fun to be with. Their attention to the safety of the cyclists on the trip was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Really enjoyed this tour. 3 hours round the island with loads of stops for funny stories. Great banter from the guides. They used Walkie talkies - each bike had one connected to the handle bars. So it didn’t matter if you were at the front or the back of the tour group, you could still hear all the commentary while cycling round. Well organised, safe. Great fun.

Great 2.5hrs cycling round Millport looked after and entertained by Adam and Jack. I've been going to Millport for over 50 yrs and thoroughly enjoyed taking the time to go round island as a tourist listening to landmark stories along with a few puns and jokes, noticed some scenery I've never noticed before. Recommend doing this tour whether new or old to the island, Adam and Daniel are perfect hosts! 😀

Being a local I thought I knew everything about Cumbrae and the surrounding area. That was until I went on this story telling tour! A fun experience for all cycling abilities. Well organised and safe trip around the island, would 10/10 recommend.

We saw this cycle tour and thought we’d give it a go. Cumbrae is very cycle friendly and if you want to know more about the island then this cycle tour is ideal. Daniel and Adam were our guides and they were friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The pace set was just right and we had an excellent couple of hours! Highly recommended.

A great fun thing to do! Having been to Cumbrae many times before, was great to learn lots of new and interesting facts told, by our guides Daniel and Adam. Lots of humour too! Set at a leisurely pace, didn’t seem like 10 miles around the island! Very impressed by all the safety aspects that were taking into consideration. Highly recommended.
